Regular Member Bonzo Posted March 12, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted March 12, 2005 Thursday, I undertook my last HT procedure with Dr. Keene. The object was to get a natural hairline and fill in around my old plugs. Everything went as planned, I followed the pre-op directions to the letter. At first I thought that 1500 graphs was all that my donor would allow. To my surprise, she was able to get over 2000+, thus she was able to go farther back on my head then what I was expecting, this was a very pleasant surprise! Dr. Keene and her staff were to say the least professional in every way. She did every aspect of the operation from the harvesting, to cutting the slits, and placing the graphs and was there during the entire surgery. The biggest pain in the a_ _ of the entire procedure was the numbing of my head ( I'm a coward around needles) . Anyway, the operation lasted for over 10 hours, then I received the post-op instructions, which I also plan to follow to the letter. I can only say that I know I choose the right Doctor for the job- Bonzo

Senior Member JacobS Posted March 12, 2005 Senior Member Share Posted March 12, 2005 Bonzo-- There is a rather odd symmetrical beauty to the before shot. The numbing is a very nasty sensation, like being stung by a bee. They say we cannot remember pain but I remember that moment very well, shortlived as it was. Regular Member Bonzo Posted March 13, 2005 Author Regular Member Share Posted March 13, 2005 JacobS, That odd symmetrical beauty is what I've lived with for over 10 years, thank God in 3 or 4 months it will finally be over-Bonzo
Senior Member Robert_ Posted March 13, 2005 Senior Member Share Posted March 13, 2005 Bonzo, Congratulations on the procedure. Those 2000 + grafts should adequately camoflage the pluggy look very nicely. Dr. Sharon Keene has been highly praised repeatedly in the hair restoration community time after time. Her results and professionalism are nothing short of superb. Thanks for the details on the procedure and I look forward to your updates. -Robert ------------------------------ Check out the results of my surgical hair restoration performed by Dr. Jerry Cooley by visiting my Hair Loss Weblog
