  1. Hi livingalie (? ow!)

I used Bsly in San Francisco. Let's just call my surgeon there Dr. A, so I don't get sued! Here's my report:

1)Yes, he is a plastic surgeon. And yes, the hair he transplanted did grow.

2)The "hairline" he gave me, quite on purpose, is not so nice-- 2x or more on one side, with some kind of signature clump near the front. It seems obviously 'designed' to get me to go back and have it fixed-- which I will, but not by him!

3)His bedside manner is scary. He's really aggressive, and seems a bit unbalanced (maybe from all that time in Army?)

4)The Bsly woman that you meet with to discuss everything is supernice and seems so trustworthy, she's either a pro actor or not really aware of what's up with that place.

5)All the microscope work is done by a herd of philipeano women.

Well, in closing, like my mom always said-- "Make smart choices!"

    Welcome to our community.

I don't think there is any need to repeat what you have already found in general about Bosley. But "Bosley" can't be rated in itself since every clinic is different with a different physician.

I hope you'll stick around and share your experience, surgical details (number of follicular unit grafts/hairs, etc), and pictures.

I encourage you to create a photo album in the hair transplant patient photos section of our forum and a hair loss weblog.

    Best wishes,

    Bill

Thanks Bill. I had 1900 grafts. It's been a week and my main concern is of course that in 6 months they turn out to be alive and growing. After that, it would be the pain above the donor area, pretty sharp still... as long as the grafts take it will be worth it! And I won't know until then if they were placed at the right angles and all that so it looks natural. Since I'm in the paranoid phase now I'm second guessing my decision, but what's done is done. All the best,

    - P

I had a procedure done by Dr. Siporin in West LA, and I feel confident my research will play (grow) out well in the coming months.

God, what happened-- none of the transplanted hair grew?

  4. Hi. Has anyone used Dr Aragoni in SF? Yes, that would be at Bosley-- I already did it, last week, before reading all this. Hoping to god it turns out all right-- Please don't waste our time repeating all the bad news about Bosley, I just want to hear from anyone else that has used the SF clinic! They were doing 5 a day last week, so I can't be the only one. Based on what everyone else is saying, I will select an independent, recommended surgeon next time, if I ever have to do this again, but in the meantime whats done is done-- anyone out there in SF?

  5. Hi Girly- Well that makes two of us. I just had Aragoni attack my head last week. I thought they knew what they were doing, I still to god hope they did, but just started reading this forum now. When I was in there, they were doing 5 a day. I can't believe there aren't other people out there on this forum who haven't had a hair transplant at Bosley in SF? Would really like to hear from them! I had 1900...
