You can see my HT experience with Dr. A. I wasnt in a position to get a HT done from the top surgeons in US, so after much research I decided to go for Dr. A. My logic was samer as yours if his skills are of satisfactory level then the aggressive marketing or posting false pictures doent make him a bad choice.

Its yet too prematured to comment on the kind of work done but the overall feedback I got from my fellow members has been positive.

I'll keep posting my progress for you all to give your valuable comment.

    Roy_sam,

Can you post any pix. Why did U choose Dr. Arvind?

    Thx.

Wow! Coming from you that's virtually an endorsement! icon_smile.gif

You don't seem the type to toss around compliments, even half-hearted ones.

I am looking into getting a transplant. Have shortlisted 3 doctors in India. Sorry, cant go to US - beyond my budget.

My question is - I want to go strip? Do you have any advise whom to turn to?

    Thx.

Bspot, I can not travel out. Unless one of the US doctors sponsor me. icon_smile.gif I have been looking at Dr. Arvind, Rajput and Goyale.

Originally from Mumbai, I am leaning towards Dr. Rajput, but his site discourages me.

I will meet all of them one by one and let you know what they said. Thx.

I realize you want the low, dense hairline and appearance is important. Bill has a good point regarding this........when you reach 30, 40 or 50 you'll likely care just as much how you appear, and, if you happen to have used up all of your finite donor supply in front with nothing left for midscalp/crown and end up being Norwood 6, I believe you will regret it.

    Thanks for the input.

I am not 20 years old. I am 27 years. My hairloss is not fast. Mintop has reduced whatever thinning I saw on the crown. My only prob. is that with the deep temple recessions, my grooming options are limited. I have to do what seems like a combover from the centre to both sides.

i understand your point that I may lose hair and become a norwood 6. But I do not plan to use a lot of hair. Just 400 should do the job.

If I do become a NW6, I will still have almost all of my donor intact. No?

  5. I am in the same boat as you. Ive been reading this site off and on for a longtime. Your post struck a chord.

I too have very little hairloss in front. Had noticed some thinning in the crown but that got rectified using Mintop for these past 4 months.

I think a couple of hundred graft will lower my temple recessions. But people are all the time talking about why it will be a bad idea. So, I decided to stop lurking and ask for advise actively.

So, I attached my pic. Any advise will be appreciated. I seriously want to get a full hairline today when I am young.
