Thanks Mrjb! I'm going to post one more before/after pic that shows what an artist Dr. Cooley is. He also said (when we met a couple days ago) that if I want to come back at a year for another 1,500 (if necessary of course - he said I'd never 'need' another ht but could certainly have another one if I had hair greed!) he wouldn't need to shave my head...he can do it without shaving.

Thanks Bill, much appreciated! As a general rule, will most Dr's want to shave my head if I go back for a second ht to add more density? Like The B Spot said, another ht with 1,500 grafts would likely be perfect...but detectability is a big concern for me and I can't be walking around for a month with a buzzed dome if you know what I mean. I guess I should ask Dr. Cooley, eh?

CAN I EXPECT MORE GROWTH OR IS THIS IT??

Thanks Nelly, much appreciated. I'll try to add a few photos from the same angle like you mentioned. Do you or does anyone know what percentage of growth is usually achieved at my stage? Would you say about 75%? Do I still have new hairs to sprout or is everything there and it simply is a matter of the fine hairs maturing more?

I had my HT with Dr. Cooley in July of '06. I just posted my 6 month photos in the 'photos' section. I researched different doctors for a long time and I am very pleased with my results so far. Dr. Cooley would be an excellent choice (so would Dr. Shapiro). GOOD LUCK!

As I read your concerns I can't help but look back and see how exactly the same I was feeling to how you are now...if not WORSE. I don't know where you are located, but check out Dr. Cooley. He did my ht and the very next day I was with my entire family and nobody noticed a thing. The procedure itself was a snap and his work was impeccable. Currently, right now I'm only using Propecia. I cannot stand the smell or mess of minoxidil and using Propecia for the past couple of months has really made me feel better...it's probably too early to tell but I already feel like it's working! Comments anyone??

Thanks daytrader! So overall you're pleased with the results from your ht with Dr. Cooley? What bald class were you in? Did you get a chance to view my blog? I guess my biggest concern before (and after) has been will it look natural and will the overall results be such that I don't need to get another ht. Thanks for the post and I look forward to hearing back from you!
