  1. As you have similar loss in the front as I had pre hasson...the best thing I found was to pick them with twezers sucks for 30min but is a better option then shaving as it keeps those hairs away longer and they come back thinner (I wouldn't laser personally). Your shock loss looks to be coming back soon you will realize the good side of ht when you hit a few more months from now...good luck and good growth.

    July192007 Dr.Hasson 4724 grafts

  2. Moving to the east coast very likely for me around the time I have free for a HT. Focus this round - hairline and crown ( I feel Dr.Hasson is better at the crown swirl -Dr.Rahal the Hairline-IMO) so I compromised knowing I did not want round three for a while after round 2... I choose hairline over the crown as the major point of emphasis knowing what I wanted to see in the mirror I went with Dr.Rahal. With that said I will be going for both, my hope is that Dr.Rahal can harvest around 2-3k going for 1-2k crown and 1-1.5k in the hairline (his feathering approach to hairlines was the clincher). With that said I feel I made a very good choice going with Dr.Hasson in round 1 and would recommend him to my close friends and forum members alike.

  3. Slow and steady does win the race, I am adding dr.True to my short list after seeing your results & Mrjb seems to really like his results also...who's the first pic of gallery...your dad?

Seriously looking ten years younger G8 you must be ecstatic - the hairline looks very nice...if you desire you have some serious reserves to dense the forest up.

    Cheers

  4. Hey EmuSteve,

You are being wise visiting, yes its expensive I remember the same dilemma...ramen for a month and visit Dr.Hasson, or eat well and roll the dice? I am glad I did make the visit; it helped re-assure me I was making the right decision. Remember HT's have a long road to success the excitement you have leading to a procedure helps push you through the doldrums, it's tuff but the reward is large. As for the sub graft endless debate, it has some merit... but in the end you will debate numbers in a HT forum.... you will wear your results on your head... I choose Dr.Hasson for the latter. I still believe...if you put a gun to my head and said you have one shot at a HT... who you going to take?...Dr.Hasson....he is like a German train...never late....never early...never fails. Others can say what they want, not a person I know thinks I had a HT (luckily I began to shave my head six months before so people would get used to the look after my HT)...funny people tell me now I look better with hair.

    Virgin scalp + Dr.Hasson = Wow.

Ok, make Doug show you around Vancouver if you have time, he is very nice and knows great place to eat and party....and more importantly is a hot chick magnet so if you get him to show you around you will run into some cuties...and that's never a bad thing. Have fun Vancouver is a great.

  5. Mrjb glad you liked Revita its top notch, I only use Rev & Niz-1% as my shampoo's nothing else (I do use conditioner after washing even some times w/revita). Every now and again the scientist in me convinces my self to add extra pure emu in both niz and revita... but I find that takes away from the amazing lather that revita has stock. So my next bottle I will use w/only the emu added from the factory. Anyway I thought you would like it more then nizoral.

    Cheers

  6. I think your work looks very clean + very good, like many other I have some reservations about Dr.Armani...talented as the best, but ethical as the worst-IMO....My recent research has lead me to the conclusion that Dr.Armani learned his Fue technique from another doctor who is notorious for Fue mega sessions (2k range) maybe four/five years ago. So when you mention he has invented a extraction tool that no one else is using, giving him a distinct advantage....I would respond.... 1st you would have to know a considerable amount about the inner workings of punch instruments...for if you don't how hard is it for me to tell you I have a magic tool that is .75mm and has zero transection and yields full growth....words yes...fact not so much.

Cheers your work looks great and like P40 said you don't look to be in that bad a shape IMO plus you are on a steady Rx so I think you took and educated gamble that will work for your case...good growth in the coming months.

For those that want to know if Dr.A ever does advanced NW cases search his site and take a look at some of the other version...Persian translated, Arabic....you will see some guys that were nw6 and the outcome of a dense front and bald back is clear as day note almost all are strip work but that will change in a few years pic wise. At the end of the day HT are a decisions one make to improve their physical appearance, some may want to front load even in advanced Nw cases to avoid the diffuse look so the argument will go both ways about planning... till cloning or something new breaks through, again in regards to aesthetically pleasing results Dr.Armani is one of the best HT doctors in the world hands down.

My current Top5 (Rahal, Hasson, Shapiro, Armani, Epstein)

  7. Hey Guys,

Just wanted to drop a line; I have scheduled my second procedure with Dr.H.Rahal for the beginning of 2008. Hairline/Crown work, hopefully this will put my hair greed to rest for a while. I am likely moving to the east coast around then so Ottawa is going to be closer for me... much like Vancouver was for HT1 w/Dr.Hasson. Just to answer the obvious....I am very happy with the work I received from H&W clinic, they have a special place in my heart for the time, care, and support they offered me and all their patients...As I often mention and will always believe- Dr.Hasson is top notch- if strip is your choice he is clearly one of the best- if not the best overall doctor (IMO). With that said I am extremely excited about round-2 with Dr.H.Rahal, we are going strip (aprx-1cm-1.5 width) + that strip will be analyzed and recorded for future fue work....I thought it was very cool speaking with Dr.Rahal that they keep detailed info of my strip (i.e. images - angle of hair growing through the skin) so they would have a major leg up for Fue harvesting (knowing how the hair grows through my scalp - side and back). Any way will keep you guys posted; naturally I am excited to see how it goes.

    Wish me luck,

  9. Hi Angel,

It sounds as though you have Ludwig-type-diffuse thinning; a real challenge to improve w/ht alone. I may recommend an alternative approach for special occasion/going out - etc...Toppik -no it no the a life saver on its own..but seems to work best on diffuse hairloss suffers....and may be a alternative that works for looks and budget...shoot its 6bucks for the small size so what do you really have to lose.

Good luck and stay up, Jamie lee Curtis is hot.
