Typically second transplant grows in slower. Give it time...you are looking at another 3 months before you get some sat. results.

These guys are right.....less than 3K grafts on a NW6 is not worth the recovery! Either you don't have the hair or this Surgeon does not have the resources to handle you properly. Send your pics to Epstein in Miami.

A Yes for Propecia. I was reading an article in 'Men's Health' magazine that implied that a male who might live long enough will eventually develop prostrate cancer. Finasteride blocks the enzyme (DHT) that converts testosterone into a form that enlarges the prostate gland and eventually becomes cancerous. Same form of testosterone that enlarges prostrate also causes hairs predisposed to shinking to minuaturise. I can only attest to my experience but I am convinced that propecia has played a positive role in rolling back my hairloss, along with surgery. I think the side effects are min. for most men but include reduced sex drive. I believe this drug is not for women and if I recall very bad for pregnant women. I take propecia every day. Some guys on here take it every second day.

when it comes in ( and it will) folks are going to assume you just grew your hair out. Congrats!

First week of Jan is probably the best time because all of the social outings are over; most people tend to hibernate for the next couple of months and by April when spring kicks in so does your new hair. Magic

Looks like the meds really worked for you also, note the back and sides. One more pass in the front would really consolidate.

If it's some guy with a high forehead but with an otherwise decent head of hair like Michael Douglas or Tim Robbins for example then I thick it very foolish.

You may just be shedding young dude.....get on the meds right away if you are convinced it's hairloss. Lots of factors play here: your genetics/ your stress level/ drugs, legal and otherwise. Get some coverups like dermmatch to disguise bald areas and take some of the pressure off.

Dr Epstein in Miami has at least 30 women's experiences documented on his website.
