  1. Whats the most recent info on genetically created hair. Is it on the horizon. If so, would this mean that hairs could be created to match any volume, width, etc. From the HT's I have seen, the only indication that one has been performed on someone is the fact that the hairs from the back of the head are stronger and thicker which results in a moderately unnatural look. The transplanted hair is thin yet thick at the same time. If hairs could be fabricated this may resolve most ht problems. In addition, would they become cheaper? A bulk or the surgery time comes from the removal. Large staffs would not be an issue. If not, whats stopping this science and where can I monitor.

  3. I had an 800 graft session done about 6 months ago. I had alot of shock loss and it does not seem to have grown back yet. They hairs at the perimeters of the transplanted area is much thinner than it was and my coverage is much less from those areas. Does anyone know how long it takes shock loss hair to grow back? If this is shock loss hair?

  4. Jenn,

I understand how you feel but dont let negative thoughts consume every thought you have. I understand your dilemma. Believe me, Im 29 and had a surgery for a slight recession and its been a serious nightmere. I have been wearing a hat every day for a year now. I know that as a women it must be unbelievable that this shit is happening, but, in time everything will be fine and you will look great. Everything can be fixed, but not overnight. It sounds like your a young girl, dont sweat it. Life can be pretty awkward at times buy it will pass and everything will be even better.

  5. No problem, Its hard to express an opinion with email because context doesnt come out right. I didnt have much time for research at the time because its hard to leave work. Now I know. It may turn out well, im not sure yet. What I am actually worried about is the accelerated thinning, but, I didnt know that such a thing as "shock loss" existed until recently. It was easy to cover up with the first session but it seems that my hair got thinner very fast after the second. I will let you know how it turns out. I am getting tired of the comb forward. It been over a year ive had to sport this stupid style.
