A lot of people say nanogen is better than toppik.
I really should give nanogen a try then

Both might help you with concealing, however note that neither of these products addresses scars and red spots as you say...
Look into Empire Hair Max (promotional link removed - read our terms of service you agreed to) for that... same technique as Toppik, but with Dead Sea salt powder (known for relieving scars, psoriasis, eczema and so on).
This added bonus is really a treat IMO.

Hmm I actually don't know about this with Toppik... That's a good question.
I currently use Empire Hair Max it has pH of 5.5 i think... Also with Dead Sea salt powder which is amazing!
Here's a link to a store if you are interested:

question for experienced toppik users

That's good to hear.
However, as a long time Toppik user, I would listen to Eman's advice on this one... It won't really help.
Also, if the pink area doesn't heal fully, you can try an alternative concealing + healing with Hair Max (promotional link removed - read our terms of service you agreed to) which contains Dead Sea salt that can really help you with the pink skin.
Hope this helps and good luck!
