  1. Guys, I joined the HT Club 2 weeks ago. Like everyone I was a little nervous going in but it wasn't as big of a deal as I thought it was going to be. After meeting several Docs I used Dr. Bernstein. I thought he and his staff were terrific. My procedure started at 8:00 AM and ended at 4:30 PM. I was given two valium and a painless injection in each arm to start the process. The latter was used to limit the swelling afterward. It really helped as I had barely had any swelling. Next were the injections to the noggin. They used a vibrating device during the injections which really masked any pain. I fell a sleep for maybe an hour and watched CNBC all day. That night I had some mild pain and took 1 vicadin and went to sleep. The next day I took an Advil and that was it. I had 1750 grafts done. I have had some itching but it appears that phase is almost gone. I used a sponge when shampooing for 2 weeks. I took a week off from work and when I retuned no one knew I had a HT. I guess now it's just a waiting game. I heard Dr. Bernstein was the best and now I know why. If you are contemplating a HT I would strongly recommend you meet with him. He has offices in NJ and NY.
