  1. Don't mean to put a damper on things but it's pricey and it's not that successful. People have found it to be overpriced and non effective. Everybody's different however and they could have been suffering from different types of hair loss. Do your research and lot's of it before you make any choice.

  2. You are pretty safe on this one fella. I have searched around for you and I cannot find any problems with taking propecia and viagra together. Most docotors recommend it if you are experiencing erectile dysfunction with propecia anyways.

  3. Hey Guys,

There are not a lot of reported side effects with the original propecia, however the generic propecia has more reported cases of side effects than that of the original. My advice is by the original, the extra cash it costs is worth it.

  4. It's strange to see that its starting come out so quickly. With male pattern baldness it generally comes over a longer period of time. Think hard, has anything changed in your life thats pretty major in the last few months? Have you started taking other medications? I would go with Mrjb on this and go and see a dermatologist. With regards to your diet, I would recommend going on a good diet making sure you get all the essential nutrients, b-vitamins etc. You will not know whether the vitaimins are doing you good yet, give it at least 3 weeks or so. Its no good just having vitamins while you carry on having a poor diet, get some good quality natural food down you. You can also try exercising more as this can't hurt.

    Hope that helps

    Jason

  5. Good info there Zac, should make use to new visitors who need a clearer picture. Although hair loss due to stress is quite rare I don't think it earns its right to be called a myth. Stresses such as meeting deadlines at work etc are not as stressful as traumatic experiences which is obvious. I'm talking about emotional stress due to a death in the family. Stress is a strange thing, just take it easy and try not to worry too much.

  6. Hi,

Yea it's a proven fact that once you stop taking rogaine or propecia your hair will stop growing, this is the case no matter what medication you are taking.

The hair loss will return once the treatment has stopped, if you are interested in seeing if it does begin again you could maybe stop taking it for a month or two to see how you go. If you notice it starting again start taking your medication. To avoid it try cutting down on your treatment, say half of the required dosage a day and slowly bring yourself off it.

  7. Hi,

The results it shows look impressive very impressive. If you want faster hair regrrowth I would suggest something that is a bit stronger and produces results much quicker. I have read the testimonials and It took a year to get to a stage were the hair is nearly grown back.

I would be wary first of all until you have done more research on this site and the products they sell. Hope all goes well and good luck.

Ok, well sorry for trying to help icon_mad.gif

I did a couple of searches on ritalin and the amphetamine drugs and I couldn't find anything, my mistake. It's not very well covered at all, more info should be posted on this.

I can answer your question about the length of time it takes the hair to grow back. It takes roughly 3-4 months after discontinuation of medication for the hair to start to grow back. It will then start to grow back to the original thickness and strength.

Hope this helps this time icon_smile.gif

  9. Hi,

I usually take mine before bed, I heard it somewhere The blood is more likely to travel to the head when lying down then standing up. So I have been taking propecia before bed for the last 3 months, but I can't really see any improvement on the latter. Old wives tale? who knows thought I would give it a shot though.

  10. Hey Hares,

Theres no known side effect of hair loss with these drugs that I could find. It maybe that your hair loss is down to some other cause. How long has your hair loss gone on for first of all? Also has any of your family experienced hair loss,ie. parents, granparents, great grandparents? It maybe that your hair loss is hereditary. Take a look at these other Causes Of Hair Loss, they may help you come to a decision on what is causing it. If you are still sure that your hair loss is down to the medication you are taking then it is best to consult with your doctor and see if he can change your medication to something other than the two you have already tried.

    Hope this helps icon_wink.gif
