  1. Just a note to tell you the VERY FRONT HAIR, is my original hair line.

See no receding whatsoever on temple area !!

So, Guys, if your young, and thinking about an HT, make sure and wait to know what you hair pattern is going to be, IF TO FAR FORWARD WHEN YOUR YOUNG, IT COULD BE DEVASTING WHEN YOUR OLDER !! icon_eek.gif

    Thanks

  2. Not sure how to do 2 pics on the same Post ??

Comparing pics between August 2002 and August 2003.

The 2002 pics have approx. 3000 grafts of plugs, micro's, mini's., results not well at all.

The 2003 Pics are are 1860 FU's added in October 2002.

I started Proscar on Nov. 7th,2002

The thing to notice is that the FARTHER FORWARD YOUR HAIR LINE LIKE MINE the more FU's it will take to fill for a desired result as long as donor hair is sufficient. Technology has come along ways for guys just starting out and in turn can get far better and less costly results then when I and others stated in the 80's !

  6. After 6 procedures, I have lost a plug twice !!

The first time was back in the 80's when at work I wore a bump hat ! I accidently hit my head, back then I worked in a factory, and it pulled one out, bleed pretty good for awhile !!

Then this last procedure, I accidently pulled one out by trying to comb my hair ever so gently the next morning without rinsing my hair. Do not do this !! I have always rinsed my hair EVER SO GENTLY the next morning with a cup of water !!

Do not try this at home Kids !!!

    Happy Growing !! icon_razz.gif

  7. I have been using a Flowbee for 12+ years now !! It works great, I have not paid for a Haircut for 12+ years !! The haircut is right EVERYTIME !! No mess either !!

    Lets see:

haircut every 6 weeks maximum or so, so 6 times a year at least !!

    Lets say $10 a hair cut x 6 =$ 60.00

    $ 60 x 12 years = $720 - $60.00(cost of Flowbee then)

So saved almost $ 700 in hair cuts

    ______________________________________

    Do this again

    Haircut every 4 weeks at $12.00 a haircut !!

    12 haircuts per year x $ 12 = $ 144.00

    $144.00 x 12years =$ 1,728.00 -$60.00

so I have saved minimum $ 700 up to over $1,600 in 12 years not paying for a haircut !!

    Thanks icon_biggrin.gif

  8. I have seen your Pics -

It is nice having a low hairline as long as it matches the temporal area of the head as mine does. The only problem with a low hairline and receding the way I do(thinning all the way to crown), is it is going to take alot more FU's to get density !! I am lucky I guess in having thick black donor hair !!

Could you only image what it would be like to have all FU's instead of plug, mini, mico's ?

Better HT and Cost savings for me !! icon_cool.gif

    Thanks icon_smile.gif

  9. Certainly the distance from your hairline to eyebrow would be a little different for people that are bigger than others, but proportionaly, it would be pretty close !!

Where to start a hairline has to do with how much hair has receded on the temporal area of the head.

This tells whether the hairline will be to low or not !! The lower a hairline, the more grafts it will take to fill depending on amount of loss.

If you have NO TEMPORAL HAIRLOSS, then the hairline should be low to match the temple area.

If you have ALOT OF TEMPORAL HAIRLOSS, then the hairline will be back alot farther to correspond to your hairloss.

My circumstances is I have NO TEMPORAL HAIRLOSS WHAT SO EVER, but thinned all the way to the crown. My Father - Complete head of hair (No temporal loss), my Mother's Father - completely bald. (Thinned all the way to the crown)

I have the original Hairline, 2.5" to top of eyebrow at 43 years old and it looks correct !!

    Look at my Pics,

  10. I've seen guys that are Drug Addicts and Alcoholics, that have a complete head of hair !!

People like me who has been working out and taking supplements since my teens, lose their hair.

Sure smoking with all its chemicals in it, is constantly making the body try to get rid of all the posions all the time, instead of rebuilding the body, and including hair, from the nutrients it takes in.

Smoking is a toxic to the body as its made to breath Oxygen, not smoke !!

But believe hair loss is Genetically based, regardless of what a person takes in there body !

Its like anything, smoking will accelerate the aging process and if you are genetically programed to lose your hair, it would accelerate it !!

It like guys with Greying or White hair that are young, they are lacking minerals in their diet so hair pigmentation is not being properly replaced fast enough.

Smoking does not help anything, except the aging process accelerate faster !! Look at older people who smoked all their lives, wrinkles galore !!

Its called cross-linking of the collagen fibers in the skin from smoking !!

    Thanks

  11. Here's my Pictures gang !! icon_smile.gif

4 Months after my 10/25/02 procedure.

6 Procedures to date, approx. 4,800 grafts, but again 1,000 of them were at the wrong place, so not sure how many exactly. Plugs, Mini's,Micro's, and now 1840 Fu's.

So I don't know how many for sure, between 3,800 and 4,800.

Again my Original Hairline has never been touched.

THE FARTHER FORWARD YOUR HAIRLINE LIKE MINE, the more Grafts its going to take depending on your hairloss.

Also, having black hair makes it so that it takes alot of grafts to cover against a lighter background, your scalp. Black hair though has great density for most people if they have good health.

I tried to keep pictures in order, but are not.The

makers of the web site said in a few weeks they will make it so a person can keep pictures in order !!

I will post more this summer !!!

It nice to have some confidents back !! icon_wink.gif

  13. After 6 procedures and approx. 4000 + grafts (I don't know how many grafts exactly I had, as 1 place I went to was a mistake, and said it was 1000 grafts, but I doubt it) I have plenty of donor hair for more procedures. But my hair is black dark thick hair. I supposely had 4800 grafts so far. Will post pics this summer as I am 3 3/4 months from my last procedure.

It depends on Hair Color, Texture, Thickness, etc.

So its dependent on each individual person and there hair type for how many grafts icon_razz.gif!!

    Thanks

  15. This oil's rare property is that it is one of the few substances with the molecular weight to penetrate deep into the skin. Doing so allows it to stimulate the blood flow to areas where applied. The advantage of this is that the healing process is noticeably quickened and collagen production is considerably enhanced. The added plus is that this ingredient is completely non-toxic and doesn't possess the usual greasiness of most oils. Also by virtue of its absorbablility into the dermis, other ingredients are able to hitch a ride on it for added benefits. Aloe in particular.

In regard to hair loss, tests conducted on rodents in 1995 with this oil indicated very positive results, in regard to hair regrowth. Astoundingly the hair growth was thicker than what was previously observed, before using the oil. Many exotic hair restoration formulas use this oil as their chief ingredient.

    Thanks

  16. After having my 6th procedure since the late 80's and having the original hairline like a teenager and no loss on the temple area and having dark

black hair, Do I have enough donor hair to cover my hairloss ? Probably not. Being over 1 month post-op now, we will know next year.

Since my hairline is so far forward, I have not put 1 graft or FU in the crown area which is is slowing weakening, Yes I am taking Proscar, just started though.

NO (all new HT patients thinking about it) you CAN NOT cover the head completely with HT's with a forward hairline like mine. With FU Technology, you might be able to cover all area's, but not at densities required.

Correct me if I am wrong !!

Hopefully next year will have pics !!

    Thanks
