I have had a consultation with Dr. Gaston de la Garza in Tijuana, Mexico, he has been doing all follicular unit transplants for the past seven years, and he is a certified plastic surgeon. He seems like a truly caring doctor and I was impressed with him, and what I saw of his work. I spoke with a couple of patients, but they were ones he hand picked, they had raving reviews of his work.
I also called his webmaster when his site went down, and he said he didn't have a transplant but that his wife had breast surgery from Dr de la Garza, and when His local physician went to take out the stitches he was so impressed with the suturing job that he called in all the other doctors in the clinic to see it.
Given all that as background, my question is has anyone here had surgery from Dr. de la Garza, or do you know about his practice? I am highly considering going to him .

I have had two mega-sessions. First one was 3475 FU's. The second was 3,200 FU's. I am done for life. I am also now on Proscar/Finasteride.

One thing to consider is that Dr Bernstien is a NW7, and elected not to have hair transplantation himself. I would trust him to assess whether you were a good candidate.
