  1. hairbegood,

Dr. charles was genuinely interested helping me. The other doctors were very busy. A lot of them did not want to take a chance on a damaged donor site. Dr. Charles' suture line healed well. I would travel to China, rather then get stuck with the quacks, like nhi and dr. pedersen. If you want more info email me at joshua99michael@adelphia.net

  2. For anyone that is looking for a hair transplant,

I have learned the following, which may be ad naseum.

    1. Make sure you get the work done by the main doctor, not his sidekick or jr. partner.

Rassman's sidekick, Dr. McClellan cost me serious scars.

    2. Try to find a doctor who devotes the day to you.

    Dr. Charles is one.

    3. Find a doctor who will be interested in your full recovery.

    4. Try to have as few surgeries as possible

I started out with small sessions of 300 and 400, 550, which; resulted in a lot of stretching as time went on. My first doctor, Dr Pedersen is now a rich man, but; not so ethical, preying on a nervous 24 yr. old who had not even tried propecia.

    anyhow,

just trying to give something back

  4. Buddy,

Your routine is too much for me. I currently take propecia once a day and keep a mostly healthy lifestyle. Also, I have had a successful trans from Dr. Charles....you went with an awesome Dr., like me. I really dont want to take the propecia, but rogaine gave me side affects. With good ht docs' and finasteride, you should be okay. I have heard shampoos don't do anything but clean your hair.

  5. Buddy,

    1. If the shaved head look works....problem solved(I have a wierd shaped head and need hair unfortunately).

2.If the shaved head look sucks, then start on proscar.

3.If after 1-2 yrs no dice, then consider transplants with someone like Dr. Charles.

    4. Do research day and night for the right Doctor or you may end up with a damaged head, like me.

    take care

  6. I just had 1475 grafts put in by Dr. Charles, of boca raton, Fl. The implanted and stitched areas look and feel much better than previous subpar doctors. He had a lot of new techniques to speed up heeling. Dr. Charles is a very approachable and down to earth guy. The pricing was fair. I will eventually post pictures and answer any questions.

ps: I have been to a lot of horrible butchers, but; it is nice to find a good doctor(finally)
