  1. Bill,

I have no photos - I just had the transplant three months ago. But, I will work on some photos.

I found this website after my transplant and had my transplant done through a PAI doctor Jeffrey Waesche.

I have read the numerous posts against PAI - remember I had my transplant before I read these posts - and have decided to withhold judgement until I see the final results of my transplant. The way that I look at it, if I am happy with my transplant, I will go back for a second procedure through them. If not, I will take my business elsewhere.

That said, since I have read so many negative posts against PAI, I have begun to grow a little weary.

  2. Bill,

Thank you for the quick reply, it's very much appreciated.

All of my grafts were i groups of five or six. All of the grafts were also in my crown. Would this make a difference? Would this improve my density and given the location of my grafts, would you be less concerned with the pluggy look?

    Thanks man,

    John

  3. My hair is just now beginning to grow. The hair that is growing is very, very light and very thin (it reminds me of baby hair).

Bill pointed out the fact that any hair that grows prior to three months is bonous hair and all of the real growth begins within three to five months. Let's just say that since this is the case, something tells me that I am in for a good head of hair.

    Grow well my friend,

No question about it, the wait SUCKS! However, you KNOW they'll be popping, it's just a matter of when.

I think the most theraputic thing for me while waiting for the grafts to grow was just helping others on the forum. I really enjoyed giving back.

So, I encourage you to stay involved and help others with the information you've learned researching your HT.

Happy growing..............oh, and I"m going to be behind each of you as I'm going in for HT #3 this Thursday icon_biggrin.gif

Thank you and I wish you happy growing as well!

I also appreciate the fact that veterans like yourself reassure rookies like me that its going to grow!

  5. I was actually thinking about this very subject today and I am not 100% sure. As time passed, it seems that I have lost some of them, but I didn't take a photo and can't say for certain. I keep telling myself that it hasn't even been three months, but that doesn't make things easier!!

That said, I can feel very small, fine hairs up there which I have been told are very blond. I hope that this is a sign of good things to come!

    Grow well my friend!!

Thank you for your response, I appreciate it.

One thing that I have noticed with my transplant is the simple fact that little to none of the hair attached to the follicle has fallen out.

Is this an indication of anything?

If the follicle didn't survive the operation, is there a way for me to figure it out prior to one year?

  7. Hello all, first I have been reading this forum for quite some time and like to thank you for hosting such a fine forum.

I had a Hair Transplant almost two months ago and wonder what will the new hair look like when it initially grows?

Has anybody ever heard of transplanted hair not growing? If so, what factors contribute to a failed hair transplant?

Does anybody here use both Rogaine and Propecia?

Is the use of both of these products beneficial or a waste of money?

Has anybody ever had a hair transplant with Dr Jeffery Waesche? Opinions?
