I've noticed in the last 2 years the UK seems to have had a rise in quality hair transplant surgeons. Not long ago the forum would always advise those living in the UK to travel abroad....

The general consensus now seems to be shifting though I think?

Wow! I've only just discovered Dr Taleb Barghouthi and the Verteporfin trial. Could it really be that the donor region can be regenerated after FUE extraction?! 😮 Exciting times! 

Does he offer this as an optional extra when having an FUE hair transplant with him?? This could be a game changer in the world of hair transplant!

Yes I think you’re right. Too many fall victim to chain clinics looking to profit from them. Always best to start the journey with a good surgeon.

I think 3500 grafts would do the job if you keep a higher and age looking hairline. That’s still around 7000 hairs. Some FUE surgeons are super skilled at managing the safe zone area and making best used of the grafts numbers harvested and planted. If you get braver later on you can always bring the hairline down a touch…
