So does this mean if we choose to get a transplant with Barghouthi at Westminister, we can request verteporfin (at our own risk)?

I’d be keen to know this information also if possible to have the verteporfin injections when having a hair transplant with Dr Barghouthi at Westminster Medical? Is it possible?? I see Dr Ted Miln works for the same clinic and is getting involved with verteporfin also

Yes that's something I've considered, too. Better to have a surgery too young but in good hands with longer-term planning than to end up somewhere terrible just because that clinic were keen to pocket the money regardless of all the important considerations when dealing with a younger person.

Yes I think you’re right. Too many fall victim to chain clinics looking to profit from them. Always best to start the journey with a good surgeon.

Have looked at others but some in Spain too expensive. Also Belgium, but is difficult for me to get to consultations. A lot of UK surgeons I looked at wont go over 2300 to 2700 G in one sitting so again multiple visits and density concerns.

As I am not getting any younger I would prefer to get it done at once, see pics. Am I being over optimistic and graft number suggestions please. Otherwise I will end up being 61 to 62 before final results if I have 2 procedures.

    Thanks in advance guys

I think 3500 grafts would do the job if you keep a higher and age looking hairline. That’s still around 7000 hairs. Some FUE surgeons are super skilled at managing the safe zone area and making best used of the grafts numbers harvested and planted. If you get braver later on you can always bring the hairline down a touch…
