I’m 55 years old ,never took meds ,and I was Norwood 3 ish ,my doctor said my hair loss can’t be much in the future as my peak age for loss is gone .i had a decent quantity hair before surgery ,but my original question is another
-
Hello I ve had my surgery one month ago ,I think my final density will be ok but not the best ,I had 3200 grafts for corners and thinning front .
i know it’s too early but I’m thinking of doing a 2 procedure with my doctor ,to soften the hairline and add up some 1000 more grafts. 500 per side to make it fuller packed and get a better final result
-
He has plentiful good results , mate
Actually the best results in the last previous years in HLC belong to him and Ms EliF . And he does charge exactly half of pekinér s 1,75 vs 3,5
Cheers

happy growing...i have seen many cases from Dr Bekir Bek lately. He seems to be a promising doctor in Turkey. what was the cost per graft?
it’s 1.75 what he charges ,he recently brunches out from HLC ,over there he was the most wanted surgeon

Indeed he is ! In no time , he will be chhatging same as pekinér and kesser do. It’s now the right time to get him while he is making a name for himself in his new clinic

Are you working for this doctor? What is your connection with him? If yes then you are not the most objektive person to judge the clinics expertise and this is considered advertising. And in any case in such an early stage you cant really make any comments now about your hairtransplant.

Hi people ,Bekir work seems to be very good the only thing that s a little bit daunting for me is he only has had three years of experience at HLC doing hair transplants

I will keep this short and too the point; yesterday I had my procedure done with Dr Keene in Tuscon, AZ - it could not have gone any better and dr keene and staff could not have been any kinder given my nervousness and sensitivity to epinepherin (sp?) and my vaso vagal issues. For starters instead of giving me 3 shots one after the other in the donor area they did them in short increments taking around 20 minutes to complete the job - my heart did not race or feel like it was going to explode as it typically does - this feeling for me is not a comfortable one and it brings on anxiety. The removal of the donor area was a piece of cake - the valium helped this. I even fell asleep a few times.
Dr. Keene is a class act she is honest and truely cares about the person she is working on. She performed all functions of the procedure excluding the cutting of the grafts. What impresses me most is that she only does 1 procedure a day - not bouncing around to differnt rooms as needed. Scott, Lisa and Marie are all great caring people.
I had my first procedure 1 year and 1/2 ago by Dr. Mark Distefano in Worcester, MA and I explained my concerns about my sensitivity to epenepherin (sp?) and he said there is nothing he can do about it and administered 3-4 shots in a row in the time span of 5 minutes! Needless to say my heart went crazy anxiety came on because of it. The worse part about it was the fact that the morning of my surgery with Distefano he disregarded what his "sales associate" recomended and said to me as he pulled up a picture of a guy with a full head of hair and said that if you want to look like this it will cost you x amount of $$ which I agreed to - I ended up with average results AT BEST. Keep in mind that I did not find this site until after my first procedure I did not know about grafts etc. Sorry for rambling but if anybody is looking for a wonderful/talented doctor and staff I HIGHLY recomend for you to speak to dr. keene. Thanks for reading.

there as good as turkish surgeons and closer to argentina
also i saw a few posts on reddit regarding fundacion.capilar from argentinia which doesnt look bad but i dont know how legit they are
Bro I’m reaching you again for your expertise
I sort of followed your advice ,I don’t need to go to turkey
leal in Brazil is impossible for his price ,about 18000 dolares but I read and saw good work about Clínica Wells in sao Paolo Brazil where doctor well himself and doctora Maira Merlotto both lead surgeries

Sedation is very risky but hlc has an anesthesiologist, so don’t worry.
except you are allergic to lidocaine, topical anesthesia is a walk in the park

Why not HLC? Any bad experience that you know about them? I’m booked with them in two months
-
Doctors Maira Merlotto and doctor Alan Wells
Anybreference about them please ,they are in Sao Paolo Brazil ,they seem to have good works done in hairvtranspnats
thanks!
-
And can I go sedated the whole process?
-
As I know adrenaline can produce palpitations / taquicardia, I’m always putting isurgery off
HLC offers me IV sedation which can be good for my anxiety ,my question is , once they apply local anesthesia [ lidocaine plus epinephrine ( adrenaline) the heart may rise speed for how long? The whole time while anestheisia is working or less? I’m asking this since the IV sedation goes for 15bto 30 minutes I think
i hope I ll be dumb enough not to be thinking about how fast my heart beats , I’m stupid ,I know because I understand it’s a benign fight and flight or whatever it s called taquicardia, but still .i don’t like it at all
anybody please shedding light on all this . I do want this surgery !1
Thanks !1

If you are planning to do second surgery, Its always recommended to wait at-least twelve months.
And can you tell me please how many grafts you consider you each of the two areas? I mean sides and thinning front

Hi guys ,I be got a questions please
at HTC ,they said to me I need about 3000 grapfts ,it’s probably 2000 for hairline and 1000 more to denser middle front area They do it in two days ,but as I don’t have all the money I was thinking about 2000 ish. , forvhairline and in a few months I ll complete with a 2 nd surgery
what do you reckon? ,and what’s the shortest time I need for a second transplant bargaining for that the 2nd one would not be messing with the same area
thanks I ll show you a pic ,then some experienced member would say if the numbers of grafs proposed are ok in your view
thanks
-
In HTC ,where I’m booked ,they told me they sedate intravenous all patients ,better off ,at least during anesteshia
any remarks about this clinic ? ,is the one I’m choosing

Hi guys ,can any of you advice me on how to kick away my panic from anesthesia injections ,it’s not fear of needles or pain
MY pannicknarises after I read how heart beat faster for a while after big quantities of adrenaline get inside your scap
any suggestions please to stop this paralyzing feeling that is not letting me book a surgery
thanks
-
I ve just dropped my surgery date due to plenty of bad experiences people inform about injections ,
I can deal with them ,my issue is the big quantity of adrenaline anesthesia contain to prevent bleeding ,which makes heart beat faster and that gets me paranoiac , it happened to me in another plastic surgery I had done years ago on my face and for a couple of minurtes I panicked
im pretty frustrated if I can’t get surgery for such a stupid psicológical reason
any suggestions?

Hello everyone
I’m planing a surgery at Hairmedico ,doctor does the operation himself and as he can do sedation I thinking about him to do my procedure
reviews on the web are mixed , so if someone could give me his impressions about if I’m going to be in good hands ,I d be grateful
thanksn

Thanks for contributing and helping in my research
I think I will be picking Keser ,he is expensive ( 8000 dollars 2000 graphs) but sounds like a safe jump ,the thing is he is only doing my hairline and he is slow ,he takes three days for 2000 graphs
‘And he reckons that touching the front area (, I'm showing in black in the picture). can damage existing hair ,but I’m wondering whether what’ he will add up in empty areas ( about 45 units per square centimeter ) won ‘t look denser than the black marked area
thanks in advance for solving doubts

It is unfortunate to inform you that your approach to finding a good surgeon is wrong. It is not wise to look for a surgeon based on their location, because it will eliminate all other good options you have available to you. As there are good doctors in Turkey, and even in other parts of the world, it makes sense to look for a good surgeon regardless of your location preferences, which gives you a wide range of options.
The most important part of the whole process is your surgeon and you are doing yourself no good by limiting your choices for that.
Consider prioritizing the quality of the surgeon over location preferences to access a wider range of expertise.
I hope this helps you..Best of luck.
Yes ,it’s helpful your comment ,thanks a lot
