Thanks for the insight @rja. Any tips for corresponding with Dr Laorwong? I’ve been in very sporadic contact with him via WhatsApp for a few days but haven’t been able to progress to a quote or consultation call despite sending photos and asking for a quote. Assume he’s very busy. Just wondering how you found it was best to speak with him.

Hi All,

Long time lurker, first time poster. Early 30s, male, based in Melbourne, Australia. I had 2,000 FUE transplant done by Bevin Bhoyrul from Sinclair Dermatology in October 2022. Bevin is my dermatologist who prescribes my min and fin and also does my PRP treatments. He also does transplants and so I got mine done with him to ensure continuity of treatment with a single provider.

The transplant itself went smoothly. Spent almost a whole day getting the procedure done. I had approx 600 units placed on my crown and 1,400 on the hairline.

Pictures are below. I'm not satisfied with the density and the inconsistency in the density between the forelock and temples. I'm looking to get a second transplant to improve this one done and having read through the various experiences on this forum I'm considering Dr Laorwong which is probably the most convenient international provider given the proximity of Thailand to Australia.

I would welcome everyone's thoughts on the result. I have been pleased with Dr Bhoyrul as a dermatologist but the overall result of the transplant is disappointing.
