Looks very good and only 5 months. Even if it stops right now, you can be happy. But there is more to come.
You said, that you are on Fin and Min right?
Thank you!
Nope not on either.

Coming up to 5 months on Wednesday so thought I’d share some updated photos.
Visually it’s really starting to take shape, the hairs still very fine although my natural hair is anyway but still hoping for it to thicken up. I can also feel and see lots of stubble hairs.
The crown still concerns me but again can feel plenty of stubble so preying it starts to fill in soon 🙏

Are you over all happy? I’m thinking of going to Yaman , worried about a few recent posts with regards to it being bumpy but he is in my budget and the team have been great!
Yes I am. My heads recovered well including the donor. I’m not even at 4 months yet and am seeing decent growth.

Nice, stay patient the best is yet to come
Thanks buddy. I’m just over the moon that I’ve got hair where I didn’t have hair before and only at 10 weeks!

10 week update - itching has subsided thankfully and definitely some growth at the front. Crown is slower as expected. Im pretty happy at this point especially as I can actually comb my hair for the first time in years (it’s the small wins right now 😝). Donors looking ok, maybe still experiencing some shock loss but I find when I’ve had it trimmed to a zero or 1 that it looks fine.
Let me know what you think guys.

Thanks everyone.
Having just shaved my head for the previous few years the ugly duckling stage I can imagine is easier for me seeing as I’m used to having next to no hair. So any hair is a bonus to me right now!
I’m just loving being able to go to the barbers for a cut and actually seeing a hairline. Will update in a few weeks 👍

6.5 weeks now.. just wanted to show the speed of growth of native hair since taking the recommended vitamins (biotin, zinc, multivits) after the surgery. Sure my hair never grew this quick! (1.5 weeks since last pic above)
Shedding seems to have come to a complete halt and there is plenty of small stubble hairs, not sure if this is the beard hair.
Roll on the next 6 weeks! -

I also think you look good Timothy and I think you definitely have more improvement to come! 6 months is still relatively early so we’re told. Have you shown Dr Yaman and asked for his opinion?

I’m about one and a half month post transplant from Yaman. The itching was a problem and I found great relief by using the foam moisturizer they gave me on the donor area itself, if that’s the part itching for you.
At this point in my post-op my head feels 100% back to what it was. No itching or pain anywhere. Your result is looking on track so far!
Thanks for the advice. I’ll definitely give it a go!
Glad your post op is on track also, you’ve not long till the exciting stage!

Hey guys I just joined this website and this is my first post. It's very refreshing to read stuff that looks like it wasn't paid for! @Dannyboy88 I am in your boat as far as NW6. Gonna head to Turkey this week for some traveling but figured why not take the plunge and get some hair back. I googled Yaman but it seems like its a common name. Can you share the name of his clinic or some other detail to narrow this guy down. Cheers.
Dr Resul Yaman is the man 👍
Good luck.

1 month update - I’ve been shedding since week 2 but seems to have slowed, hoping I can keep what’s left of the transplanted hair but we shall see. Donor looks to be recovering ok although there is definitely some shock loss which is to be expected considering how many grafts were taken.
The last few days I have noticed the itching has become a lot more frequent and annoying. Hoping this is a good sign as something is happening.
Let me know your thoughts.

Hi there @Dannyboy88 - did you have any issues with the SMP hairline sitting below the implanted hairline? Does it look bad? I've also had SMP done which I like but is probably lower than where I want my implanted hairline.
At the moment it looks fine and it’s faded quite a bit anyway since I had it done a few years ago. Plus I’m wearing a cap most places as I’m in the ugly duckling stage already 😢
Once the hair has grown out in a few months I’ll have another look at it but it’s not bothering me currently. -

Get well soon. It hurts even only looking at the picture. But zooming in it seems that the graft is still inside. Fingers crossed. 🤞
Thanks buddy 👍

Looks promising. Also considering Yaman. Hoping the best for you.
Thank you, I was also thinking it was looking promising until I was topping up the oil in my car and the bonnet dropped on my head. Luckily; only a small cut and abit of blood. I’m hoping as it’s been 3 weeks now that’s only scalp damage and not graft 🙏

I don’t want to come across rude but I’m Kind of confused why you’re shaving your head still? How are you meant to see your progress?

It's quite evenly dense all over & it's a good sign those grafts are growing nicely at day 10 before they shed. Theoretically they should fall out in the coming weeks then grow back around month 3-5. I've seen great growth after 10 days, then they don't survive. But only a couple of times, this should be a good result with Dr Yaman

Great to hear that you’re happy Timothy! The hair looks great. Infact, looks very similar to mine and I am similarly looking for another pass to try and improve density in certain areas. I think from being slick bald, this is an excellent result in 1 go!
