I am 5 months post op on a roughly 2000 graph ht along the hairline. I was about a norwood 2 to 2.5 at the time. Anyways, at 3 months post op the hair starting sprouting and things were looking good. However, it is now 5 months and the hair appears the same as it did 2 months ago at 3 months post op. Is there reason for me to be worried?

I need some help with some of the knowledgable people regarding this subject. I recently had a transplant and am about 5 months post op of roughly 2000 graphs placed along the hairline. Things were looking good at the 3 month to 4 month mark with hairs starting to sprout. Now, however, at 5 months, it still looks the same. As though no new hairs at all have grown in since the 3 month mark. Has anyone had this problem or can anyone shed some light to my problem? any infor would be greatly appreciated.

I know that they are completely secure after about 8 to 10 days. However, how secure are these graphs in the recipient area right after the transplantation?
ie: could they fall out

I have used procerin for the required period of time and feel that it has not done anything at all for me. I agree that minox/prop are the two that you should stick with. Everything else appears to be snake oil in my oppinion. But you never know, it may work for you.

i feel much better, relieved.

I to have recently had a transplant and have the same concerns. How fragile are the graphs right after surgery. can they fall out? Hopefully someone can help answer this. I know that they become fully secure between 8 to 10 days. However during those first few days how fragile are these graphs. For example, would gravity itself be enough to make them fall out. ie, bending over,?

thanks for your response guys.
Just curious, what did you look like during the post op? Could you see all the hairs coming in before they went dormant? I am asking this because i had close to 2000 graphs done. Some graphs have been growing in, but not nearly close to 2000. Is this normal?

Hi
Just curious as to how important the post op instructions are because I have heard that different doctors seem to have different instructions. Thanks.

Hi everyone,
I just recently had a 2000 graph surgery on the frontal hairline and am 3 weeks into post op. During the first couple of weeks I did see some of the hairs coming in before they go dormant. However, I did not see nearly 2000 graphs. Maybe half of that if lucky. So, my question to anyone who has had a transplant. Is this normal? Or should I be worried. Should all of the 2000 graphs grow out or do just a few during the first couple weeks right after? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
