4-11 is the scary part. Allow long hair to dry means cervicalgia and bronchitis lol
When did you start to use hair drier?Tbh I haven't used a hairdryer yet, I just let it air dry after patting it with a towel.

Can you elaborate what you did the first ten days after HT?
I am going for a semi-shaved fue and I'm scared of the post op.Hey, I followed this but remained spraying every 30 mins or so until about day 6 when the scabs were loose. They provided some repair cream which was applied to donor 2x a day. As I was ahead of schedule once the scabs were off I was basically back to normal (day 6/7). Hair wise I just had it brushed back and not covering the grafts. For sleeping I just used a normal pillow with a neck/travel pillow on top, no elevation. I've now implemented Nizoral shampoo as my scalp became really flakey.
Don't be worried, just follow the info your Doc gives and you will be golden.

Ok so I'll tell you my experience with that advice. It did work well for me last night.
But in the 1st 3 hours of sleep I woke up a few times cuz certain parts of the back of my head felt pain. So I had to reposition my head.
Good news for the rest of the night, I had less soreness waking up than nights before using the advice. But I still had some soreness, not a lot as before.
But will donor area pain from sleep mean the donor area is affected? Will the follicles not have future growth?
Nah, It's painful because you had loads of holes poked in it, give it time, did they give you some repair cream for donor?

For both my transplants I slept with a neck pillow on top of a normal pillow.

Day 6 - Temple crusts/scabs falling off already. Anyone else find with DHI this is the case? I remember last time where I had DHI, the scabs came off much faster than the sites where manual incision was. Maybe just me 😄

I’m a vaper and am due for surgery in a couple of weeks. Is it true that vaping could impact both the surgery and the overall result? Interested to know how others have managed this during HT?
I vaped before and after my first, had no issues at all.

I still have redness 2 years after my hair transplant, sometimes redness doesnt leave and unfortunately there is nothing you can do about it
Really? Never heard of that before, mine finally went after 1 year and I thought that was long.

I’m not sure I would’ve gone so aggressive on the hairline. But that’s my opinion. The good news is your blonde with fine hair. It will probably still look soft. The growth looks good.
I guess there are a few benefits, being softness and you cannot see my scars that much. Thanks for the feedback. 👌

Hello all Transplant numero Dos has happened!
Took place this morning, got to the clinic around 8.30 and left at around 1.30pm, DHI was used solely here. Super happy to get the temples done and hairline more boxed off as apposed to an M shape recessed look previously.
Will begin by posting the photos I took as soon as I got home, post op.
Donor after 1400.
Doc says there's still plenty left in donor, hopefully this is the last one for good (or a long time at least) provided everything is smooth sailings.

Alright guys final update for transplant number 1, basically one year in now. Very happy overall with the work carried out. Seeing where I came from to now is a huge difference.
2nd Booked for next Saturday to bring down the temples slightly and add some temporal peaks. Shouldn't be a big procedure and will finalize everything for me completely.
