Can you show a picture with your hair wet and combed backwards?
It isn’t clear if you only need a touch up at the first line, or the entire area is missing density. Try to show us better images

Which medication are you on? Oral minoxidil is there?

Hey
Can you please explain why 2nd procedure is 50% success? I’ve never heard about this. Did you investigate it further?

Currently doing topical finasteride 0.3ML, oral minoxidil 2.5 MG, I dermastamp on sundays, but have stopped for the moment, and then will be doing the high yield PRP for the next four months, not for regrowth but to keep the recipient fertile.
Do you plan to fly to Madrid for the PRP? Are you Spanish?

Can you please try to upload a bit more high quality picture? Maybe stand directly against a light, and don’t use flash.
In addition, could you please show a photo of you before? To see the bald area

In the first 2-4 months, do you start to see some hairs that are supposed to be thick, or are they weak and thin in this phase?

Feels like your long natural hair hides the actual results… could you please show the hairline and mid scalp ? Move your hair with your hand

Hi guys,
I’m approximately 1 month after my hair transplant. 90% of my transplanted hair already shed, as expected.
However, sometimes I notice very small hairs on my hand during shower. Not a lot of them, just few (4-5), but still.
I’m pretty sure those are hairs on “round 2”, that means they shed 2-3 weeks ago, and now started to grow, and fall again.
Is that normal? I’m afraid that means they can’t survive…
Thanks

The transplanted hair will almost all shed and then you will start to grow new hair after 3 or 4 months. This is completely normal and happens to just about everyone. It's very rare that transplanted hair does now shed.
1 hour ago, YodaHead said:@Kacan This is normal and expected. You are going through what’s known as the “ugly duckling” phase of the hair transplant. The transplanted hair will go into resting phase and shed (however the root under the skin is still intact). At about month 4 they should slowly start to sprout again.
I don’t mean to be rude, but did you not read about this process before surgery and did your doctor not inform you about this?
I’m aware of shedding. But the tiny hairs Im talking about, are NOT the first transplanted hairs that shedding, but a hair that shed on week 2-3, started to grow, and then fell again when he was very tiny. -
What do you guys think about warm showers? Not hot, but warm. Are there any issues with that after a month from the operation?

Hi guys,
Could you please post here some photos of you after scabs removal, before the shedding (day 10-15) and your current results?
I’m interested to see the density and how it turned like in the final results.Thank you

What marks the crucial point where grafts may face challenges in surviving after a hair transplant?
If a graft grows after the shedding that means he survived? Is it possible that graft grew before the shedding, but after it won’t grow?

Look, this is a ballpark estimate. Maybe someone will hit max thickness in 2 cycles, maybe someone in 5.
After scab removal you get the 'perfect preview' because you are looking at thick, terminal hairs everywhere.
In an ideal scenario, everything grows and thickens up post shed so a year or year and a half post op, you'd look the same if you shaved your head.
Many variables though. If the surgeon took hair from unsafe donor, it will miniaturize and fall. If you got a transplant without medication and you were a low NW, your native hair may miniaturize and fall around the transplant.
There is great individual variance, no uniform answer.
I see. That’s actually quiet depressing because I just had my scabs removed and you can clearly see the transplanted area isn’t the same density as the original

So, the way your hair looks once the scabs fall off, is the optimal, uber-duper best case scenario you can hope to achieve, if you don't experience any further loss and you have 100% yield from your transplant.
Realistically, even hitting 80% of that, you are going to look good and be quite satisfied.
The new hair comes in wispy and thin. Then it cycles, sheds and comes back stronger. It may take 2-3 cycles for it to achieve full thickness. Also keep in mind that your natural hairloss will continue progressing (Depending on how you respond to medication) so if you lose more of your native hair, you may need another transplant. So the thickness after the 3rd cycle is maximum the thickness I see after the scabs removal?

Are you taking oral Minoxidil and oral finasteride?

I don't understand what are you exactly asking but i think you want to ask that whether the hairs will grow thicker than the actual (native) thickness of those transplanted hairs
Does the transplanted hair grow thicker after the shedding, or the post scabs-removal, before the shedding, will be my actual shaved result?

Hi,
I'm just curious; let's say that after scab removal, you identify an issue (perhaps you lost some grafts). Can a fix be applied immediately, or is the scalp is too traumatized for that?

Hi guys,
Im taking finasteride 1mg daily.
I had a HT in my hairline and temples, and I think my hair in the top of my head (not the transplanted) is keep on thinning, very slowly, but still.
What would you recommend me to do besides taking the finasteride?

Did it have any effect?

By the way, I’m not sure if it is a valid argument, but I bet you look pretty natural in person, and given that in 5-10 years your natural hair will obviously become thinner, you might prefer your transplanted hair to stay like it is now
