You needn't worry about the donor area just yet, as it's still too early in the healing process. Temporary shock loss can cause a patchy appearance, but with time, typically 3 to 6 months, or sometimes longer, it will start to look more natural.

Even now, despite photos possibly being misleading, your donor area seems to be in good condition, especially considering you've had a previous FUE surgery. However, it's important to manage your expectations realistically since you're extracting more grafts from the donor for the second time. While it should still look natural, don't anticipate it to be as dense.

During a hair transplant, it's important to understand the various stages involved. Initially, there's a shedding phase where transplanted hairs fall out within the first 3 months, followed by a gradual growth phase with uneven growth rates and possible patchiness. There can be a shock loss on donor which result in patchy appearance of the donor. There can be Numbness, discomfort, redness, and pimples which may persist for around 6 months or more.

All this are a part and parcel of the surgery. Patience and trust are crucial throughout this process, as it takes about 12 months to achieve a well-blended and natural-looking result. Stay calm and patient, and keep updating on your progress. Happy growing!

I hope this helps you to calm your nerves now and then. Good luck brother.

    Thanks mate

Well you don’t book a clinic for it’s good communication or the socials but for the results. There’s must be an issue with his website.
If they have confirmed the surgery then there’s nothing to worry about. Have you booked your flight ?

Yeh bud all booked , just found it strange how the website has gone and the insta page really

  3. Hi guys I’m booked in with dr Pekiner for the 27th December but have recently noticed that the website (Neo head ) and the instagram has been taken down it’s no longer there now I asked his assistant Alex about this and they have no replied ? Anyone else going to dr soon and spoken to them regarding this ? Contact with the clinic is really poor but I already knew that before I started but no the socials have been taken down seems strange to me

  4. Hi guys , just a question on repairs , iv spent the last 2 months chatting to top clinics and surgeons about repairs , has anyone on here had a successful repair where they remove the pluggy wrong angle grafts and replace them with fine single grafts in the same sitting  ? Iv probably spoken to 10+ doctors and only 3 have told him this can be done in the same sitting the others have told me this is not possible to do so I am a little confused at the moment just want to know if anyone on here has actually had this done ?

Repairing bad angles is a pretty horrible process and can take upwards of 3 or even 4 procedures to remedy. Trust me, I am have had 3 repairs already for this issue.....

I am very sorry but no grafts cannot be placed in the same hole.

If that was the case, bad angle repair cases could all be done in one-go. But its alot more complicated than that.

How many bad angles do you have? Is this a minor or severe case?

Before you embark on this repair journey, definitely understand and be educated on the timeline, costs, and sheer grit and determination that may be required.

Yes this is why i asked the queation , it’s probably 20-30 that really need to go

There was a great case posted on here a few years back with hairline softening, though I can't find it doh. Typically the hairline is softened using finer calibre's hairs planted in-front of the coarser grafts.

Do you have and photos of your hairline ??

Yes they have offered this but i want them removed due to the angle on them i cant style my hair

  7. Hi guys trying to search for this answer on here but cant find it, im about to book in for a little repair work i need some multi grafts removed from hairline that are placed at wrong angles  , the question is can the new single grafts be put into the same hole to replace them ? Im speaking to 4/5 top surgeons some have said ill need to remove them and come back in 2 months to fill them in then others have told me (pekiner , saifi )they will extract the the wrong angled grafts and replace them with single fine grafts , does anyone know for sure what the correct answer is as i dont want to get out there and be told actually we can’t replace them today youll need to come back 🥴
