  1. I am right now experiencing the same.

Since 2/3 weeks my transplanted hair is falling out.

It is shedding massively. In the morning when I brush my hair, I have approx. 40 hairs in my hand.

Almost all the hair on top of my head was transplanted. Most of the time the hairs which fall out are strong thick hairs.

I am really freaking out.... all help is welcome!

  2. Hi I am experiencing exactly the same.

I had 3 HT’s and I am also not on meds. My last ht was also 6,5 months ago.:

    - June 2009 (approx. 2.500 FUE on frontal area)

    - March 2010 (approx. 2.500 FUE on the crown)

    - December 2012 (approx. 2.000 fue mid section, temples).

Right now, I am approx. 6,5 mths post op my last procedure. However, the last 2 weeks I am suffering from a lot of hair loss.

Never had this before. Transplanted hair, from previous procedures and I think also the last procedure is falling out.

I can see through my hair and it really feels thinner.

What happened to you? Did it all grow back?

Almost everytime I touch my hair, hair is falling out.

  3. dr. lindsey thanks for your reply.

I had 2 big HTs. One in the front area, where I didn't had any problems. And the last one was on the crown area, where I have the cysts now :(

Maybe the fact that hairs in the crown area are placed in a lower angle, increases the risk for cysts.

For me, now the main important thing is to cure it. Because I lost some implanted and full grown hairs due to these cysts. I hope they will grow back?

Do you have any idea how I can cure it ?

  4. Hi all,

what kind of preparations can one have for a FUE so that the grafts come loose easily.

As I read in several boards, with some people the grafts are extracted difficult and therefore the procedure takes longer.

I also read that for example H&W ercommend some massaging before a FUT. I can imagine there are some techniques also which you can do on forehand to ease the FUE HT.

    Thanks all

  6. no i am on no med at all. I am losing hair now for 10 years !

I think I'd never do strip. I have a dense and good donor, according to the FUE doc up to 10K is possible.

At first I will not take a very low hairline. Density is more important for me.

I think I will do the crown area in a second HT and at the same time then lower the hairline a bit.
