this entirely depends on age, if you are below 30yo and your hairloss is recent this would be a huge mistake

if you are 30yo> and stabilized for 3+ years in same status, you could surely have a 2k-2.5k transplant to cover it but veeeery unlikely that doing crown first is ever a good idea considering the temple area is the most visual impact and valuable part

Makes sense good to know. I’ll wait till I’m older. My hairline is much worse I’ll start w that thx

If you've been on meds for a while then it's a huge mistake to have surgery for such a small area that in time can become a huge area
(especially if you are young). Stick with fibres for now and stay on the meds. Not the answer you wanted to hear I know. But you really want to work from front to back with hair transplantation. All the best.

Appreciate the honest feedback thanks. So ur saying one day the meds will stop working and wait for the area to become worse to get hair transplant?

Dr Pinto, Dr Ferreira, Dr Freitas, HDC, Fuegenix and Dr Pitella as just some that come to mind. Definitely worth researching further than the recommended list, some really good options that are not on it.

Ok appreciate it thanks! Looked in them and they all  have long wait list. I’ll look into hdc haven’t yet. Wondering what u think of Dr laorwong? Been seeing and hearing great things about him on here

  4. Hair is a little wet and sticky from minoxidil so looks little worse than usual. I’ll upload new when hair is dry. Also my hair isn’t usually this short/my last haircut was bad I could tell she rushed it especially the crown area. I was looking back on older pics doesn’t usually look this bad. Still curious what y’all think I’ll share another one w longer as well later

Doing 3000 on a 23 year old with that kind of head of hair is not what I would call a conservative approach, particularly as the clinic did not even want to do surgery in the first place.Honestly there remain now only a handful of Drs I would trust my head with. As for lifetime Finansteride, who know if that will work.

    Curious if surgeons u trust?

Smile is a hair mill, do not go there.

From what I've gathered, Turkey is mostly about marketing and a majority of them are hair mills. Bicer is one of the top options in Turkey though if your looking at the price point. I'm not overly informed about Doctors in Turkey as I decided early on to not play that game so I'm just being a echo chamber of what the community says.

Bicer, FUECAPILAR in Turkey are the ones I would look at.

    Pekiner ?

Gabel seems to fly under the radar here, yet he seems to produce consistently good results. He was also trained by Konior. (I will say Gabel totally ghosted me as we were emailing each other back and forth, so consider that as well...)

Hattingen in Switzerland seems to be very popular among Europeans (Germans in particular), but is not mentioned a lot here.

Feriduni is one of the best repair docs, but not mentioned here a lot

I'm actually not sure if Lorenzo is a good doctor or not - I don't have time to research - but his name seems to pop up a lot on the Spanish forums

Just as HRN has its loyal following and top doctors this audience prefers, if you go to other hair transplants sites on the internet, you will find different audiences and highly recommended doctors who may be unknowns on here.

Now let me tell you about all the overrated docs I've come across. If I had a nickel...🤣

I’d love to hear where else to look and ur list of overrated docs

My search results are similar to yours. I was keen on Dr Pong from THT clinic but as I pointed out earlier, my main grievance with Dr Pong is that almost all of his patients have the similar weave-like hairstyle, a year after their HT.

Have you made contact with Dr Laorwong and Dr Path? Whats your norwood scale and how many grafts do you need? Will they be doing dense packing on your scalp? How much did they quote you?

Have u reached out to any of them?

Been in contact with both just a few emails. They both quoted me around 2-2,500 grafts. I’m on the younger side for transplant so they want to go conservative. They both agree my hairline and frontal def needs work. They will evaluate mid scalp and crown in person. not quite sure my nw scale and haven’t gotten that far into convo about what they would do in terms of packing scalp
