I had my HT on 05/08/10 with DR. Madhu. I have redness in m donor area. I have also itching around the scar area. I am attaching my donor area photos can you guys give me your valuable suggestions I did send my photos to Dr.madhu asking for his advice but i want to get your input as well and one more thing I am hitting Jim should I stop it if i have infection will there be any effect in going to Jim at this point of time , when I am doing workout I have bit of uneasiness around donor area. I am still waiting on my doctors reply. If this is an infection what are the cautions I have to take care I am just worried If any one have any suggestions will be great to hear it will help others who are going to have future HT as well thats the reason for me to start this new thread

I am hitting jim now from past 4 weeks. Right now its been 2 months 2 days after my HT the problem is I am getting very mild strecth like pain in the back of my head. I am doing situps, Chest press with 10kg wieghts. Do I have to restrain back for some more time from excercise or i dont have to worry about it as its more than 2 months now? Thanks in advance for any suggestion. My doc advised me that it wont be any problem as it is more than 2 months. Can any one here have similar experience.

Hi Bhim sorry for the confusion I dont remember excat time so the 3.5 hrs mentioned is wrong please ignore it about the number of grafts I didn't count but I believe Dr.Madhu as he is recommended and very reputed DR I don't think he will go for wrong count

thanks for the reply tom . I have finished 32 days now and my transplanted hair is slowly falling out , I still have about 40% of transplanted hair numb in few areas but every thing is going fine just waiting for the months 2 pass quickly.

Is been 25 days after my HT with Dr.Madhu and still haven't shed many transplanted hairs they are growing they are alsmost 1cm as in your case. I did use thespray you said on the first day every 1 hour I think. I thought transplanted hair has to fall out before they begin growth. I have never read transplanted hair growing straight away without shedding did any one come across such case transplanted hair growing straight away?

hi tom thanks for the reply so you mean I can touch my hair and treat it as normal from now on wards no restrictions of scratching or touching

Hi I am in to my 4th week now . I have still transplanted hair only few grafts fell off. But I have scabs left. I haven't touched my head for first 15 days but in last few days i plucked the scabs of my head is it ok to do it or should I still not touch my head and remain calm. Apart from the scabs I have no pain or discomfort. When can I start attending my jim can I do it from next week when I complete 1 month?

I had M HT done by Dr. Madhu on 5th of this month. The procedure went very smooth and I liked Dr.Madhu's approach very much he was very professional same goes with his team. I had 2600 grafts transplanted. I didn't go for new hair line but decided to go with existing hairline so that I get more density. I did tell Dr.M that I am planning to go for 2nd HT. The surgery itself took around 3.5 hours and I had no pain during the procedure and very minor pain after the surgery. I hope the results will be great and I will share my photos in the next year. Look at my photos and let me know what you guys think. I have opted not to shave for HT.

I would like to thank Dr. Madhu for the smooth procedure.

Thanks for clarifying the doubts. I am thinking about what subbu told earlier as I am have a good bit of native hair is it better to wait for 1 more year to mature balding? or is it better to go for HT now itself?. Let me know what you guys think .

Can you please clarify why you think I should stay on minoxidil for 1 more year?. I have been using minoxidil since 5 years I got lazy for last 6 months and stopped using it but I started using it agian I wont stop it agian. But can you please elaborate why I do have to wait year I am confused. I have lost my hair rapidly in last 18 months. I still have hair but People can see bald patches thats the reason I wanted to undergo HT I have been reading this forums since 2 years and was hoping a doc from india to be recommended. The other reason I want to go undergo HT is its affecting my confidence high level. one more question I saw in one of the threads Dr.Humayun saying" if you had max of 2300 grafts in first surgery then expecting more grafts in second is impossible" so if I had more than 2500 grafts in first session will it be imposibbel to undergo second HT?. How much density can I achieve with 2800 grafts per sqcm?. Let me know if you have any advice about grafts to undergo or number of sessions. It will be great.This is the reason I posted thread well before I undergo HT to get valuabel suggestions.

Hi thanks for your reply I am using minoxidil tropical solution 2%. I am planning to go 2500 grafts first and then seeing the results want to go for second HT if needed. One more question as I do have fair bit of original hair how much effect of shock loss is going to be on the original hair?. Is it good to undergo 3000 or more grafts in single session as there is chance for loosing my original existing hair which may lead for second HT.

I am indian Male aged 29. I am planning to undergo HT with Dr.Madhu as he is recommended in this forum. I have been visting forum since 1 Year and it gave me good knowledge about HT. I did send an E-mail to Dr.Madhu with my photos and I got very quick reply saying i may need 2500-2800 grafts from seeing my photos.
