I've been speaking with FUEcapilar's whatsapp members. The packaging isn't all that clear though, did your procedure include VIP hotel/breakfast etc and did you pay per graft or a flat rate?

Looking forward to more progress photos.

A paid flat rate, everything was calculated before I came in by Dr. Turan, hotel+transportation + breakfast included. They will double check your hair and donor area, make sure you still good candidate, and thn you will pay. I paid exactly what I’ve been assessed before scheduling appointment. However they did 200 less grafts then expected.

Happy growing man. This looks a clean work. Can you describe more your experience and the procedure there from the time you got into the clinic ? Thanks for sharing !

Arrival day was just a blood work

operation day: 0900 pick up from the hotel, translator met me a the hospital and introduced me team with dr.Turan, after pictures from different angles been taking, next step was discussing medical history, treatments, and my goal from Ht with dr. Turan, signed consent and pay.
Next step was shaving donor arena and under some tools look through to determine capacity, thickness, average hair per graft etc. Shaved rest of my head after and design hairline, measure it from each side make sure it’s symmetrical everywhere. So my donor arena has a capacity of 14000 grafts and procedures took 2811, which is around 20%.
Next step was some painkiller drug and needless anesthesia. After 10 mins of waiting, extraction specialist used actual needle anesthesia on one side of my donor area (hurt af btw), and extraction process began, around 1-1:30 mins in total (900~ grafts),team been doing grafts separation(singe, double , triple) at the same time, after extraction 10 mins break restroom etc, and implantation process, which is anesthesia in arena of implantation by Dr. Turan and DHI implantation. Hour - hour and a half approximately. Thn lunch , and repeat same process different side of donor area and different side of implantation, for crown and overall density, he used middle of my donor (thicker hair). So I’ve arrived to the hospital at 0940 and came back to my room at 2120 +-, sleep was terrible (different time zone, pain, and you have to sleep at 45 degree angle in order to not damage implantation area). Next day was smooth, bandage removal, cleaning donor area, gave me all instructions, medications, shampoo, hydration spray and all this good stf, Dr. Turan checked implantation area, if anything pop up, bleeding or infection, make sure everything straight, giving you your surgery report, instructions for the next 12 months and you released.

Good luck mate. Dr Turan seems to be a good and safe choice in Turkey. Do you have the surgery report from Dr Turan ? Also by saying the procedure was divided in 3 sessions, u mean that the tech was extracting 1000 grafts per time and then Dr turan was placing them in the scalp? So the grafts stay out for a shorter time?

Yes, extraction certain amount from one side of donor arena, and implantation by Dr. Turan. Left side, right side, and crown with overall density with breaks between each of them. I’ll follow up with future results here.

  4. I finally did it, through a lot of research, especially on this forum.
    2900 grafts with Dr. Turan
All day long procedure, divided on 3 sessions.
2000 grafts for hairline, and 900 for the crown area.
All personnel were absolutely friendly and very professional. Jose walk me through every step of the procedure and was helpful during entire process.

pictures before shaving, after and after procedure.

    ask me if anything.

Because if your native hair is still thick (a lot of active, if miniaturized, follicles) and you transplant between them, you run a greater risk of shock loss.

The empty 'donut' on your crown should be safe to transplant in, as its empty. I'd be careful with lowering the hairline, as apart from the nw3 recession, you still have thick hair there.

I have sort of thick hair in the middle of my hairline, M shape, but on the sides it’s completely bald, so when they will put hair there it shouldn’t be between hair since there’s no hair. Or you think they will have to touch middle too? Sorry for dumb questions I’m just newbie in HT procedures.

You have good thickness in front, you seem like a really strong NW3V at this point. How old are you? Asking to try and get a handle on the long term aspect of it.

You could lower your hairline down to NW1 without too much issue, but the native hair is still thick, I don't think that it would be a good idea to transplant between that healthy hair. The crown would probably be almost entirely filled with 900 grafts as the problem is pretty small there.

If you are under 40 I'd recommend waiting before an HT, to see how your loss progresses.

I wouldn’t call my crown hair thick, I’m 27 y.o, why you think HT is bad idea with thick hair?

  7. Good evening one more time fellas, after research on this forum I’ve decided to go with FUEcapilar ( Dr. Turan), his assessment was 3000 grafts, 2100~ front and 900~ crown. But I’ve seen some post from guys almost same way of balding as mine (diffuse thinning) and a lot of advices to them not to do HT since they still have some hair on those areas. So I’ll attach pictures from every angle and want to know if I’m a good HT candidate as of right now.
FYI I’m on finasteride for the past 2-3 years, tried minoxidil topical (but almost no effect), dermatologist said I’m good to go for HT
Crown staying at the same condition for the past almost 2 years I would say.

  8. Ye, Dr. Nader completely unreachable idk, I emailed thru their official email, and his assistant Brenda I believe, also called the clinic and left voice mail on his personal ph. No response whatsoever, even automated ones. Sadge, FUEcapillar said I’ll need 900-1000 on my crown, which I think not enough but I’m not an expert, and around 2000 on my front line, Dr. Turan will do DHI, if Dr. Nader will not respond I guess I’ll go with Turkey, let me know what y’all think about FUEcapillar and Dr. Turan, as far as my research that’s not hairmill.

Thanks @NARMAKi will attempt to sweet talk my GP. Good to know Eugenix will sort it over there in a worse case scenario.

I have a video consult with both Dr Das and  Dr Bansal. I haven’t quite made a decision on which yet. I know Dr Bansal is more senior but Dr Das seems to be gaining momentum and your results so far look great. Would you recommend?

Dr Das’s price point is also much more affordable for my current situation, but I’ll see how the consultations go.

How much Dr. Das charge per graft?

This is the op ... 3rd ht ... But all were small ... More for cosmetic reasons because of the career I was in . 1st was in '98 ( 750 grafts ) 2nd was 2008 (1200 grafts ) 3rd was 12/2021 (1726) grafts .  Had I not taken a harsh steroid in 2015 ... I would not have needed the most recent one .

Anyhow, just giving some insight on the 3 hts and how small they were compared to others on the forum

Thanks for an update, hopefully you will see what expected by 12 months mark.  Your post was very helpful for people like me who’s consider Dr. Nader as his future ht doctor.

Nader is notorious for taking long to respond. Partially because his quality/price point ratio is best in North America it seems. Part of the way he keeps price point low is keeping staff count low, so that and the fact that his services are in demand take for longer response times. Keep trying if you want to go with him. But expect it to be at least December before you get in

Damn, December you talking about actual appt., or just email respond by December 🤣, is there any other ways besides his website and email I can in touch with him?
I’ll keep trying ofc. See what FUEcapillar will say. But Dr. Nader seems very good according to this forum’s reviews, I haven’t seen bad ones, besides guy who has almost 0 visible results after 7 months post-op. If anybody else have experience bad or good with Dr. Nader please share it here so I can make right no-biased choice.

In Mexico there's Dr. Nader and there's HCM clinic with Dr. Cortez in Tijuana. They'll pick you up from San Diego, I believe.

There's also Dr. Camacho in Bogota, Colombia who does nice work. I hear they take nice care of you there, too.

There's a couple in Brazil, too.

I appreciate sharing those names, I’ll look them up, Dr. Nader seems legit, and especially it’s 4 hours drive from me. But he hasn’t replied on email yet.
