In most cases at 6 months patients see the most growth, but there are some cases with later growth too. There is indeed luck of density so far but you should wait a a few more months to judge for sure.If this doesn’t improve until month 10, then it means you have lower yield and many grafts dis not survive.

I’m sorry for this mate. This does look like a bad result. You paid $22k for that result and it’s totally unacceptable. The doctor did only the incisions and he did not even supervise the techs during the implantation and extraction stages. That’s totally unacceptable and you should ask a big amount of your money back.

Looking very good. Contacts to dr somesh 👏

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. How long it takes to know if fin and min has sides or not? I have never taken them yet and if I use both then how would I know which one has sides on me?
Minoxidil doesn’t have side effects. Finasteride also has small chance for sides. You can take finatseride every other day and not every day if you worry about sides.

Happy growing. The plan and distribution of grafts along the recipient area looks really good. You will get a nice result 👍 you should also start oral finatseride 1mg per day and topical minoxidil 2 times per day for 7 months after 15 days from your procedure. Good luck 🤞

The result looks “ok” and you will get even more coverage in the next months. You could always do a touch of to add some grafts to get higher density.
HLC offered you a free touch up, so you could book it from now.

Happy growing. Dr Yaman is a great surgeon and hopefully you will be satisfied with your final result 👍

In most clinics doctor doesn’t do the whole procedure by himself but he uses techs to help him. So as soon as dr yaman participated in the procedure and he does supervision it’s fine.
You still have lots of time mate. You don’t have to worry. Dr yaman is a good surgeon and he has many good results on this forum.

I wish I had lots of money to seek Dr.Sethi.
I am thinking between Comphrensive to Premium package as the viable options as per my budget.
So which Doctor do you think I should be talking to?
What do you mean by 2 sessions pls?
IDr Sethi is indeed too expensive and most people can’t afford. Well you select either the comprehensive package ( dr vinita) or the exclusive package (dr soumesh). These packages should be fine too and would save you a lot money. All doctors of Eugenix are trained with the same way and their techs at the same. So you don’t have to worry.

There has been a little improvement, but the growth is still poor on the left side and the hairline does, to my eyes and my girlfriends, look pretty odd. Obviously, will be returning to HLC to take them up on their free touch up, but probably not anytime soon having just started a new job.
Here are a few progress pics in various lightings.
The fact that HLC already offered you a free touch up, before the 12 month mark, shows that HLC is an ethical clinic, which cares about its patients. If I was in your case I would definitely go back to HLC for the free touch up, since it would do everything to satisfy you. Also Their doctors have the experience and expertise to make your hairline look perfect…

Another one might think that even gym can accelerate hair loss since it increases your testosterone when you lift weights. So what would you do ? Would you stop gym?
A man needs testosterone to be healthy and have a normal sexual life. With low testosterone you will feel sick and impotent -
The density on hairline looks fine. On the crown it’s a bit low since you had a large area to cover so it’s logical. For the crown yes you will need another one procedure.

He only has fine singles on the haiirline. Dont get the purpose of this post.
Anyone can see the doubles in the hairline which should be removed and replaced with single grafts.
A proper hairline should have single hairs in the front.
In the photos below we can see the doubles in the hairline.
-
Nice progress. You are not Norwood 7 though. You are probably Norwood 6.
Also what I can see is that your hairline is a bit too straight and there are many doubles in your hairline which should be single grafts.
With a third surgery you should remove the doubles from your hairline and replace them with single grafts in order your hairline to look natural. -
Very detailed write up which will help other members that are thinking to select this clinic.
The work looks great. I wish you all the best !- 1

Happy growing. You selected a good surgeon and I believe you will be satisfied with your final result. Looking forward to see your new updates 😃👌

Price differs according to location. USA is the most expensive. While in Europe you can find top surgeons charging 2-4€ euro/graft.
dr pittella is at 4 $/graft
In Thailand you can go to laorwong with 2 €/graft.
In Turkey you can find decent options from 1+ €/graft- 2

The reason I replied here is because we had the same surgeon and very similar hair transplant characteristics. And I’m two months ahead of him.
If the thread owner or the admin prefer it to be removed I will edit/remove my message.
I see. You don’t have to remove your message. But why don’t you make your own thread ? It’s good to see another one case from HLC.

Awesome result with natural hairline. Congrats dr yaman 👏

Happy growing. The work looks very clean. What did you pay for you surgery ?

Hi @FaganBecker,
As I wrote in the first replies to your thread, I also had my surgery performed by HLC and exclusively by Dr. Elif (I also requested her specifically). Similar pattern to yours (3200 grafts; 600 of them were added to increase density in the middle at 20 grafts per cm2, like done in your case) Today I'm exactly 8 months post-surgery.I will share some photos from 6 months post-surgery and maybe it would be helpful for you.
I have to say that I'm not totally satisfied with the hairline design (would prefer the V shape you have, and it's bit asymmetrical), but it's another matter as I just want to give you a reference to the hairline (singles, multis) and the growth.
I have to say that I feel that I'm a slow grower and I can surely say that the density has improved in the last two months, and I still have short and weak hairs in the hairline. I hope this is going to be the case for you too.
Before transplant:
1 week shy of 6 months:
Exactly 6 months:
7 months:
Yesterday (8 months - harsh lightning):
I think you should make your own thread and present your hair transplant progress and don’t mix the threads.
Btw your result from HLC looks very good to my opinion with high density..I prefer your hairline shape than a V shape one.- 1

What kind of prices have you all paid per graft for FUT in the USA in the past year?
In Europe you can find top surgeons at half price than USA surgeons. Price difference is only due to different location, and with lower price in a different location you can find better doctor
So in general higher price doesn’t mean better quality, since there are many surgeons with high price and low quality.

Asking in this thread because the clinic I want to go to is in Ankara, but would love to hear if anyone had a recent trip to Turkey at all and did you feel generally safe from war and terrorism issues etc.?
There’s not any war and terrorism in Turkey. Dr Pekiner, dr keser and HLC clinic are in Ankara and all of the patients that went there didn’t have any issue. It’s completely safe.

Second DHI/FUE transplant - 833 grafts - Non-shaven - Dr Dogan Turan - FUECapilar

Sometimes it is difficult to predict the amount of grafts from the photos. Might look worse from photos and in person to look more full. So less grafts might be needed during consultation. The non shaven procedure takes important role too.
I will tag @FUECAPILAR to give us an explanation.
