  1. It’s been a year since my first fue with Dr  Charles which was 1800. While there was improvement, certainly no where I wanted to be. According to the doc, it was not a net gain of the original 1800 as the weak hairs in the front were never going to survive much longer anyway. I do have very fine/thin hair so I know it’s tougher to get them packed in and give it a fuller look. Yesterday (8/24) I had the second done. Results to follow. Pray for me y’all!

  2. Not sure if anyone has experience using peptides. Like bpc 157 or cjc 1295, but I started to about a month ago and just when my HT was starting to look full, out it comes! Does anyone have any experience using them and having similar results?

After the 12 months then its time to reflect/review and make a decision on how to progress. Would i go back to the same Dr/Clinic, personally i wouldn't. Worth getting some consultations done with others. Hows the donor area looking?

I think it’s ok back there. Filled in decently. I have super fine/thin hair. And the crown isn’t great really either. So it’s a very touchy situation. I inquired with Nader. But I’m not sure who else. Anyone stateside is so expensive. Not sure I want to fly to turkey really either. So open to exploring  all options. I also have long hair. So I really don’t want to shave my head completely either

Looks like you will be needing another procedure, im not convinced the 1800 grafts was going to be enough tbh. Also wondering what the yield was, sorry its not got you to a better point for month 10. By now the growth of grafts is pretty much done and the last couple of months is just thickening/maturity of whats there already,

Yep I hear ya. I stay in close contact with the office often. They keep advising to wait the year before anything should be done further. So I’m waiting. But ya, it’s clearly not enough. Better yes, but could be better and the hairline should be up more. Not sure how many more would be needed honestly 🤷🏼‍♂️

  5. 10 months in now. Some growth for sure, and I feel more comfortable going out and overall. But, not quite the fullness I ultimately want. They say a full year is needed for results so I’m still waiting patiently next couple months. I do have super fine hair. So I know it may be tough to get exactly where I’d like.

if its anything like PRP then its just a frivolous way for the doctor to charge you more.

I would love to be proven wrong, but I bet the laser cap won't move the needle.

Paying and going to the doctor's office 3x a week seems like a big investment for a questionable treatment.

Nothing like prp at all and it’s free, anyone can use it if they do HT can use it

They got a couple of really bad reviews amongst some good reviews.

Usually a 3.1 google rating is really bad though, even though its a small sample size.

I would avoid this company until more information is available

I think thats pertinent to various devices the company makes, which is several. I know TED is new.  Dr. Charles is actually doing a study for them. Going to see if they can include me a test subject to see how it is

this is why long hair FUES are pointless. It is still obvious you've had work done and you will be concealing it the exact same way people with shaved FUES do

If you mean long hair, the transplants werent and I knew that. I just didnt want to shave what took me the last year and a half to grow!

  9. Just about two weeks in. Some of the transplants have hair, but doc says they will most likely fall out. I feel the shape looks good. Just hope they aren’t too far apart and the fullness will be there once they grow, god willing!  He insists it will be fuller than it looks now. My dilemma is how to style hair with the stubble in front and long elsewhere. Lots of hats for a while!

For those who use topical fin/minox how soon after HT did you resume?

Is there a reason this was a no-shave procedure?

It looks like Dr. Charles did a conservative hairline for you. Nothing wrong with that at all, but just curious, would you happen to know how many cm's the new hairline is from your glabella (i.e. eyebrows)?

He did mention that he wanted to go a tad conservative in case future hair loss, so it won’t look worse years down the road

I don’t know. And I didn’t want to shave my head mainly. It’s keeping with my original hairline mainly. I just wanted more density in the front mainly. He went down the sides a bit as well.
