Thanks so much for the great comments and I appreciate your perspective. As I’ve been saying on this thread, I think everybody that goes to Juan Couto will be well taken care of and he will perform a procedure on you. That will be the best that you biologically can receive. I wish everybody luck on their journey. In the end, I truly want every single person that sees Dr. Couto to be as pleased as I am. And if I hadn’t said it enough, I love that guy, I’m so glad he and I became friends . 

Hey guys and girls. I always like to do a follow up so you can see how great it feels to have gone through this and be loving my life. So here again are some follow ups. Heading out for the night so hair is washed and gel is in. People wanna critique density, design, etc…

At 54 years old I am f**king thrilled out of my mind and again I will scream from the roof tops….Dr Juan Couto is simply a god!!! 
So happy he took care of me and we became friends!!!!

When I travel to locations such as Madrid and other large cities throughout Europe, I have a tendency to use hotels that are part of large chains. So I chose the Hilton.
One of the reasons I do this is because I know what to expect from the corporate hotels and once you’re done with surgery I don’t want any issues. 
I can promise you, your experience will be excellent, but keep in mind this is surgery and it’s no joke…. It’s not a haircut. You will be fine guaranteed!!! He is an amazing surgeon but an amazing guy! Candy at the front desk is equally fantastic!

I think some of us are "armchair quarterbacks" when it comes to this because we spend so much of our time obsessing over the details of this particular surgery/procedure. With that, we lose sight of what matters the most - is the patient satisfied/happy with the results? You clearly are and should be. I would be too. 

Because of this, you definitely look better and feel happy with the result. 

I'm happy you got in to see Dr. Couto, I wish I could, as I truly believe he is one of the best surgeons in this craft. It's just tough to get an appointment, but I think we can all understand why that is - he's only one man, and he can only do so much in a day. 

Maybe one day I'll get my chance, and I'll get a procedure that makes me as happy as you are.

I hope you enjoy your vacation in Italy, thanks for your reviews and responses, and congrats on such a great transformation.

No offense taken my friend! My comments were for everyone that visits this thread. Everything I said was with the best intent. Just making a point. I do hope everyone finds the best fit for them! I am sure there are many good choices out there all over the world. Until I see better results consistently, I will always believe Juan Couto is the best!…at least the best for me!

Don't get me wrong, I'd still take that over the before photos, but agree that if he went with a more mature hairline there could have been better density. Either way he is very happy with it and it looks really good, I'd be happy with it too. And with someone like Couto, you just have to trust them. Congrats OP. 

Hello everyone!! So I am vacationing in Italy and saw that more comments have come up on this thread. Time for me to point out an important detail. I am dentist is Florida. Much of my work is cosmetic. See it at (www.RitterandRamsey.com)

I have one goal in my work. The goal is to MEET or EXCEED my client’s expectations!! Other dentists may try to critique my work but they never understand the actual desires of the client…also, I never actually give a s**t of another dentists opinions. So with that said….

Juan Couto EXCEEDED my expectations!!! By the way, the nicest guy ever!! But as far as the result…

Yes…”hair line”, “density”, “natural”…whatever..

Everyone will see the result different based on their preferences…and that’s ok!! I love it!!

But I, the client, love it!!! Holy f**k….I love it and I love Juan. As far as I am concerned, no one and I mean NO ONE, has the same consistent results as Juan Couto!! Show me another person on Instagram with more consistent  results…I searched the entire planet and could go anywhere I wanted. I chose Juan and never looked back!! 
 

With all that said…enjoy your journey. Do your research!!! Don’t choose cheap (like all the guys in Turkey)!!! You have one chance to do it right!!! For me….Juan Couto FOREVER!

Thanks for all the different opinions. Everyone is right and everyone is wrong....all in the eyes of the observer. My hairline was brought down to exactly where my natural line existed then carried across. Could the density be more? Sure! Can I go back and add more density? Sure. At 54 years old I am still thrilled at the result. In the United States you typically get one full day 5-8 hours worth of work. No one and I mean NO ONE would have given me this result that I could find in the USA. I had many "hair guys" here say "OMG, I can do that for you"....until they saw my result and I swear to god all of them said "WOW MAN, that's a ton of coverage"...Yes cause I did 3 days, 7 hours each day back to back....INTENSE!!!! Until someone shows me better results over this many clients....I will go to my grave believing Juan Couto is the best person in the world at this!! Someone prove me wrong...not with one result but with the hundreds you see posted by Couto on instagram!!! So keep the comments or questions coming...I am as honest and open as anyone can be!! Cheers!!

Hello. So no PRP. The only meds I have ever taken and still take daily is finesteride.

I know this is a tough decision for a lot of people, and often that decision revolves around economics I can clearly say that you’re better off to weight, save your money, and do it with the right person as opposed to hoping for a great result with one of the many people in other countries that simply are cheap For me waiting for Juan and paying his fee was worth every dollar.  

So here is another update. I know some see the area as “thin”. Down lighting can cause that look but more importantly is the following. As the hair grows over time there is definitely a change in density. So after all this time the result is simply perfect….for me!

Ok everyone. This is my one year anniversary!!! Juan Couto is simply a GOD amongst men!!! Never settle!!! Thank you for allowing me to express my happiness!!

Hello everyone. So its mid August and it will be exactly one year  next month in September since my procedure. Just spoke to Dr Couto while he was on vacation.Wanted him to know how happy I am and how well it has come together. Here are some updated pics. I have said it before and I will stick to my statement. I have not seen a better result from anyone else on the planet...Juan Couto is simply the best I have ever encountered!!!

I think with any direct down light most peoples hair looks "thinner". The same goes for excess gel or styling product. No matter how perfect the job we can always find areas we want to "tweak" but the bottom line is this. Its been just a tad over 7 months and Juan Couto did an amazing job. I am happy and those that see the work stand in amazement. I still say Dr Couto is the best I have ever seen with consistent results...see his instagram at @Fuexpert

I've become a big fan of his work, but seeing patient results is the main thing and there's not a lot on this forum so thank you for sharing. 

I'm actually thinking to get on a wait list for him in a couple of years for possibly my second procedure to add some more density. Gives me time to save up.

he has 2 teams, one that retrives the follicles and one that helps place...but the key here is HE DOES THE PLACEMENT, unlike here in the USA where technicians do it!

I am starting this thread simply because I feel I need to let the community know how amazing Dr Juan Couto is!! My experience was incredible and the results so far (7 months) have been fantastic!! Want to know more? Happy to tell you what ever you like. Please note that I live in Florida and could have gone anywhere in the world...I chose Dr Couto simply because his results were the best I have ever seen!! I will post some "lifestyle" photos so you may truly see what I was dealing with regarding the hair loss. Full disclosure, I had FUT 17 years ago, so Dr Couto was redesigning and also repairing my frontal area.
