Looks great, and will only get better!
Thank you!! That’s exactly what I keep telling myself too. I’m much happier with my current progress than last we spoke. Looking forward to what the next few months bring.
How is yours going?

Thanks for replying. Is there a reason you did not use medication before the surgery? You should definitely focus on the frontal third in the second surgery, full coverage won't be achievable in your case. Wish you all the best and keep us updated!
I did here and there over the years but never kept up with the medications. I wish I knew how important it would’ve been when I had more hair. lol
Thank you for your advice, when I speak with my potential doctors I’ll ask them about doing more in the frontal 3rd.
I’ll definitely keep you all updated on my progress.

Since when are you taking medication? How old are you? What is the plan in the future?
I’ve been in the medication since the surgery so 7 months.
I'm 42 years old
The future is see where I’m at in month 12 and probably do one more surgery and pull 1000 graphs or so from normal donor and at least 1500+ from beard. That’s the hopes.

Did your doctor inform you you would need multiple surgeries for total coverage?
This 1st surgery does seem to be an improvement from your baseline - and for all I know this was your objective. Depending on your age, personality, and other factors, you may be totally happy still having some balding evident.
But....if your goal is youthful, full restoration with zero signs of male pattern baldness, I imagine you will need 2 more surgeries.
Not sure what your donor looks like.
He did tell me that. I am contemplating but of course won’t see full growth until the 12-18 month mark.
He told me I could get another 1200 or so graphs from my donor area no problem. I may consider another doctor for only one reason, Dr. Wolfled does not pull from the beard and I can get easily 1500+ from there for density.
I highly recommend Dr. Wolfled though, if he pulled from the beard area he is the only one I’d go back to.
Yeah to me the 1st surgery so far is definitely an improvement, I look forward to seeing what my full growth looks like in a few months.

Hello Community,
So I’ve now waited 7 months to start posting my results. To be honest I think the reason I’ve waited so long is because I was unsure of my results. I wasn’t unsure of my Dr. I like him very much, he was genuine and easy to talk to and explained everything. They even answered an insane amount of questions I had pre and post surgery. The waiting as we all know can be annoying to say the least, even after reading so many of your stories and knowing the results take time.
I’ve finally reached the point where I am extremely happy with my results thus far and look forward to the next 6 months or so of growth that hasn’t happened yet.
I am currently still taking oral finasteride and topical minoxidil, both from KEEPS. I use all natural shampoo and conditioner and when styling my hair I use Keeps Thickening Pomade.
I will wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Michael Wolfled and his team in NYC. Aside from being a trained plastic surgeon, he trained under Bernstein for years. As I stated he was great to talk to and answered all questions with thoroughness and patience. I guess a great review always has something negative as well to pint out. So here is mine: the only negative thing about my procedure was the lunch options. Lol
Included in procedure were two sessions of PRP injections as well.
So the information about my procedure:
FUE
2193 Graphs
I think about 8 or 9 hours
I am hoping all of my photos uploaded in correct order and that I did it correctly.

Hey guys,
Quick question, I’ve just had my 6 month checkup. Im using minoxidil and finistride and im noticing every once in a while hairs in my sink and some in my pillow. Not a lot just some here and there. I had 2200 graphs done.
Is it common for transplanted hairs to shed this late?
Also, if what I am seeing that’s coming out will it grow back or is what is calling out permanently gone? -
Looks great my man!!
thinkng Of grabbing from the beard if I decide to go with a 2nd HT

Following this, good luck buddy. Thinking about my next HT if needed pulling from the beard too.

Also, I feel most of my growth did come AFTER the 6 month mark ... really in the months 8-10
Oh ok, that’s good to hear. Your growth looked to be pretty quick, but glad to hear the 6 month mark came most of the growth. I’m just being patient until the 12 month mark.
it’s funny bc I feel like I feel stuble but when I take close photos I can’t see any. Lol

I think right around 5 month mark I got a haircut ... but didn't really touch transplanted area ... just the back and the sides ..
Gotcha, yeah I have trimmed the sides and back I think twice already. I’ll probably follow your lead and not touch the top for a while. I’ll see the Dr. next week and double check.

Hey buddy, doesn’t seem too much progress. Seems to me the hairs that didn’t she’d have grown real well. I think I feel a lot of stubbles still on the scalp so hoping there is a lot more growth to come. I have my 6 month checkup next week.
here are some photos I just took. -
Greetings Friends!
I’m just 19 weeks in on my surgery. I wanted to ask you all two things:
1. Best shampoo and conditioner out there to use?
2. I workout twice a day, how often should I use shampoo and conditioner?
I’m hoping to get the best suggestions for brands and kinds of shampoos to use.
thanks Friends.

Gotcha, yeah I know it does and I appreciate the reassurance. I was looking at your growth and looks like yours had come in with a good base within the 5 month mark. I feel like the only thing I see now are the ones that didn’t shed in the beginning just cause they’re long. I do feel some stubbles for sure.

Apologies for my delayed response, I didn’t see a notification in my email.

Hey friends!
hims minoxidil and finistride mix spray, good or no good?
also, do you need that AND oral finistride?
-
Looks awesome buddy!! Cannot wait for my 10 months and to share!
do you think you’ll be happy with the outcome or do you think you’ll go back for a 2nd round? Or too early to tell still?

Anyone use it?
is it all hype and no results?
-
Hello all!!
I'm 5 weeks out from my FUE, currently taking finasteride and about to start again on minoxidil. I use keeps, what do you all suggest?
Nutrafol keeps coming up in my feeds also
just wondering what everyone has had the most success with.
TIA friends

Thanks all, appreciate the feedback. I’m 5 weeks out from my first FUE procedure. I was just wondering if you were to shave your head completely bald later on in life(60/70 years old) if it were going to be noticeable that you had one done.
I’m hoping I never do but we never know what is going to happen to our hair later on down the road. I’m so happy after my first I’m only 5 weeks in and hoping I’ll be able to have a second to fill the crown area and add more density. For me I’ll probably need to extract some beard hair. But, I have some time I have to wait in order to figure that out.

You can wear a normal hat or a cap that touches your transplanted area. No worries.
Thank you! I appreciate the answer.
