You have an amazing result. What made you stop taking the meds? Side effects?
Thanks man. I just stopped using, no reason, no side effects at all. I didn’t know it’s so important to use meds or it’s a must.

2nd day post op - finished with 2740 grafts as dr Mwamba considered enough and he was satisfied for the vertex coverage. He also put very few in the front where some empty spots were found. Donor site looks good, almost healed, shampooing twice daily and using anti inflammatory medication.
Finally a bit disappointed for the frontal area which lowered in density after not even 2 years. Hoping for the best to come.- 1

Hi guys,
just started today the second surgery and I was a bit disappointed, but that’s my own fault. I stopped using medication since 3 or 4th months after the first surgery and now the crown area got very bald then it was on the beginning of my journey. So here I am today needing 3000-3200 for covering it instead of 2500 grafts initially quoted. My luck is that I still have for about 5000 available on my donor site. We have started today at 11 am and is going well. Hope we can achieve 3000 in the 2 days which I was scheduled.

Hey @Leos if i can ask…how many grafts where quoted for your crown with DrM in april? Thanks in advance
Hey man, sure: he told me 2500 for the crown would be enough, but I’m pretty sure we will push for more in the surgery day 😁
We have performed the same in the first session, I was quoted 3500, but we’ve done 4200.
Impressive results man, keep it up 💪💪💪

Hey @Leos thanks for the comment and wishes. Hope you have a great result as well. I have been following your case since we went to DrM and almost at the same months.
I will posting photos here bear with me :). Also the first clinic i went was of a local plastic cosmetic surgeon that doesnt specialises in HT…he never touch my scalp, two random technicians do the job. The take point here is: never go to a surgeon that doesnt specialize in HT if that is what you want. I was naive and follow his direction of discontinuation of finasteride - since for him my hair loss was stable. Wrong!! In less than 4 years all my hairs where miniaturized. Thanks man, got it.
Where you from?I strongly recommend and encourage everyone who is looking for a HT to make deep research and read hair network forums before choosing a Dr and a clinic for the surgery. I have studied this topic for 5 months and I was about to choose a turkish clinic when I understood that the quality, the process, the techniques used, skills and technical details are the most important. Then I decided to make an effort and double my budget for choosing the right Dr.

Hey man, happy new year!
Very glad and proud that our stories posted on this great forum took you to the best decision you could make by choosing Dr Mwamba and his team. 🙂
Please share at least the name of the clinic you first made the failed surgery, people from this community should know and be aware.
Can you please share also few pics after the surgery with Dr Mwamba? I need to see the results. Can’t wait to have the second surgery In April and to see the results of yours also in March! 💪

Hi guys,
I have finally managed to decide and schedule the second surgery with the one and only Dr Mwamba, this will happen on 4th of April. First I was not decided between Dr Mwamba and HLC because I thought the top crown area is not so important like the frontline, but then I realized that is not worth it to take any risks.
Dr Mwamba is the best hair transplant surgeon worldwide to become, in my opinion. He’ll become the new generation, the new era of the hair transplant innovations!
See you 💪

Hey Thanks for the feedback,so you had great results even though follicles were out from the body stored in ATP solution for more than 6hours.
One other question does the doctor spray ATP solution on the grafts during implantation, did he gave you a solution to spray at home ?
Thanks
It’s not about for how long they keep the follicles out of the scalp, sometimes they have implanted and same time dr Mwamba is extracting another ones. As soon as they get 5-6-700 grafts, they are immediately separated and implemented. Yes, dr. have sprayed saline solution during implantation and gave to me one bottle for home. Don’t know exactly what ATP solution means.

Do you mean which country with Mwamba, or in general?
In general, because this time the price will be an important decision factor 😐

Hey @Leos
Do you remember what was the time between extraction and implanting the grafts back ? Did you endergo multiples days with multiples short sessions of extraction and implanting.
Seems your HT is a wonderful success by Mwamba
Thanks,
Hey man,
They extracted and separated the grafts for half a day an the rest of the day was for implantation. We’ve done 3 full days between 8 am and 11 or 12 in the night.

Like Belgium or the US?
No, I am thinking to Turkey or maybe my country Romania, this time the price would be a problem because another 10k for the crown is not accessible.

Hello Leos, great results!!! Do you know the density DrM managed to implant 60g/cm2, 70g/cm2, 80g/cm2? Your hair looks superb. And thanks
Hey man, thanks! I really don’t remember, but I know he told me he achieved almost the natural density.

Amazing result! I also had my surgery with Mwamba back in April for frontal third + temples with a similar amount of grafts, so hoping for a similar result!
Thanks man.
You will have it for sure, not any kind of worries.

Great, thanks. Did the doctor provide transportation to and from the hotel/ clinic right after the surgery? Or did you have to walk late at night after surgery?
None of the top clinics provide such services 😁 This you’ll see only In Turkey. You should walk by your own, there is no problem. This hotel is 5 minutes walking from the clinic.
