Many thanks for the update - looks significantly better than last month.

I’m also in touch with Dr. L to resolve my diffused thinning. I was proposed a 2500 Graft FUE surgery, without shaving the recipient are.

I’m quite afraid of shock loss.

How OK are you with the aftercare? Dr. L is very brief already in the consulting phase… wonder how he responds after the surgery?

I still asked him questions via email after the surgery and he did replied all my questions though short answers . He is not someone who talk a lot in the first place .

my shock loss is quite serious as what you can see but it recover after like few months .hope it helps

It's hard to tell from the after surgery pictures exactly where the newly grafted area stops.  If the rest were shaved and the grafted area were more easily definable, it would be easier to make an assessment on whether that will be dense enough.  Just curious, but why not go with FUT to ensure greater graft survival and to keep as much donor area available for later?  How old are you?

As far as the final result, you're almost certainly 3-4 months away from something that could look final (and even that would probably only be 70-80% final), so there's much time for improvement still.

Hi .. thanks for your advice .. I am 40 and chose FUE because I do not want a scar at the back of my head in the event if I decided to keep my hair short in future .

Doctor did told me that result will be obvious only at month 6 .looking forward to the results .

Week 15 , some growth happening now but don’t think it’s too obvious as the hair that shedded during shock phase probably has already grown back as well . But I think it’s looking much better compared to last month.

I know I am now only 15 weeks now but I am quite concerned about the middle part of my middle part above my hairline which doesn’t seems to have much growth compared to the rest of the area like the hair line and the back of top of the head . Praying hard that I will see improvement next months onwards

Looks good. But man, may I ask what the point is to keep your hair like that and not shave all off?

Hi .. as I am returning to work 2 weeks later , I can use toppik on top of recipient area  and by than donor area also will look more “normal” . I try to make this transplant as “normal “ as possible. Just my own thinking

Thank you so much for posting this. I've been considering Dr Laorwong for a long time and so watching your progress will be really helpful. My first impressions, the work looks amazing. Both the donor and recipient areas look really clean. It's early days for you but if it helps, my donor area looked pretty rough and my recipient area didn't look as good as yours and I'd rate my final result a solid 7.

I used a different doc. but if initial impressions are anything to go on I think yours is looking excellent. I really like your hairline shape too!

Please keep us posted as I look forward to seeing your homerun result.
