My favourite is all the clinics claiming 'Voted best hair transplant clinic' or 'Award winning clinic' in their adverts. Do people really fall for this type of marketing?

    Short answer, yes!

Edit: Just seen Berba has already answered, but think how many people are influenced in general by trustpilot, google reviews etc when they are unverified and in some cases bought or faked.

Its been well over 4 months since my surgery with dr Bisanga and here are the results.

    Donor, right side (still patchy):

Hairline, no difference with before surgery (hopefully will start to grow from now on):

Thanks for the update mate. As others have said and will no doubt say to you, this should be the very start of your growth progress.

I will say that the hairline looks a lot less pluggy already than it did pre Bisanga surgery, although the lighting isn't the same as your first pic

I can see a disconnect. My native hair are just so much thicker and denser.
I feel like the transplanted hair are starting to blend in slowly tho.
    will keep waiting and see..

i will be uploading pictures tomorrow

Ok buddy, guess it looks different to the pics then because you have that 'wall of hair' look in the ones you posted.

Thankyou all for the replies. It sure is a minefield out here...

Yes, it seems that the list of Türkiye surgeons i have chosen must have the best marketing, because they're everywhere

I did email Farjo clinic around a week ago and still had NO reply. On the other had KSL will not stop calling or emailing me.

I did look into Bisanga in Belgium, who has amazing reviews but thats like paying the UK and still having to travel overseas

I will now look into Inekio, Ball, Dr Mani Mittal, Dr Ted Miln - Cheers

Honestly I got the eurostar to belgium and it was really easy, as Berba said above travelling around the UK can be more of a hassle. This is a one off surgery (hopefully) so you could even fly to Brussels, get surgery done with Dr Bisanga and then relax in a hotel for a week or 2 before you look normal again if you're self conscious about travelling.

He's in another league to the ones you're looking at in the UK, definitely would at least consult with him pal.

Ok fair enough, I don't know where the literature falls on that, I know people who have had kids on fin with no issues, but would'nt want to recommend it just in case something happened, and you'd probably kick yourself for the rest of your life if that's the case.

I agree wait until Jan, it's not that long anyway and won't make a difference to you.

Congrats on becoming a father !

  6. Both great docs, I think based on hair and loss that Dr Bisanga would knock this out of the park with 2400 grafts. If I were you that's where i'd go.

Wouldnt bother with the crown for now personally, let meds do their thing for a year and see how if it thickens things up- doesn't look bad at all from the pics you've uploadedl. Just out of interest, why not start fin now?

BTW I get what you mean about it being a minefield but from following results for about 4 years now, Bisanga has been incredibly consistent in achieving terrific results.

  7. As I'm sure you're aware mate this isn't a good result, and despite possible improvements over the next 6, I can't see you being where you want to be.

Good new is your hair looks thick, and it shouldn't take too many to fix and get you a great hairline.

Only go to one of the best this time around (Bisanga, Couto, Ahmad probably out of your price range, Pekiner) etc and you should be fine.

    All the best

Unfortunately, the main problem with minoxidil is a compounding mistake. I spoke to Dr. Vaño from Madrid, he said its almost always a compounding mistake.

Hi melvin, do you mean they put too much in the pills, or it has this effect over time as it builds up?
