wishing u good results. this gives hope for those of us who have had sides on fin. keep us posted on.

just for clarifications, its an applications every 2 weeks? how much many months is one vial, 3 months?

Thanks 12345. Correct, once every 2 weeks... 1 vial should last 3 months..... Also, the shipping time was insane. I forget exactly how long it took but it wasn't more than 5 days I believe.

  2. Hi everyone. I just did my second application of Cosmerna. No sides. Penis function is normal to this point. No brain fog, tiredness or sleepiness. I do micro needle as well. Cosmerna is the only drug I am using at the moment. No issues with shipping, I am in Canada. Obviously, nothing to report in terms of re-growth. I did not experience shedding. I did not notice a change in hairs on my hands while shampooing. It's the same as it was before. Hair also looks and feels the same. For the record, In the past, I did take low dose topical FIN and experienced all the penile side effects, weak erections, weak ejaculations and some numbness in the groin region within days of use. I didn't know if this was placebo or not but frankly I didn't care. I stopped use and regained normal function of my penis. So, in my opinion, this is positive news for my Cosmerna treatment and I hope I can remain side free and begin to get thicker hair in the coming weeks to months. P.S the once ever 2 week application is a game changer..... it's a dream over the once or twice daily application.

  3. Hey everyone. I have decided to take the plunge. I have booked my first hair transplant procedure with Dr. Konior in Chicago, Illinois.  From what I have read he is fantastic and is only a 4 hour drive from me. The procedure is a year away so I have a bit of time. Now, my main area of thinning is my crown. I have been quoted at ~3,000 grafts Via FUT method. I was recommended this because it is my first procedure and I am 35 so I am likely going to need a touch-up or 2 or down the road. Now my secondary concern is my hairline. Right now it is pretty stable. Do you think I should add a hairline touchup to my 3000k crown area? What do y'all think?

Been pushing my megasession FUT appointment (4-4.5k grafts) with Dr Hasson for almost a year now and Canada is not looking very positive relative to the US. It seems super unclear when the border will open and it’s getting super frustrating to see no end in sight.

I’ve decided I will only let Hasson or Konior cut me.

I’ve recently consulted with Dr. Konior who has been great in providing good info on what he would do (4K grafts) and his overall assessment. I was transparent with him about my perpetual Hasson appointment and he openly informed me that Dr Hasson is very good at large sessions and advised me to wait things out of I could, which was an interesting and honest response.

Konior has a non-refundable $2k deposit, which really discourages me from booking something with him as a backup in case the border continues to stay closed into 2022.

I don’t doubt that Konior would do a great job, but wanted to call out for any other info I should consider and any advice or recommendations?

Contact the Canadian Border. Ask what you need to do to enter the country. Get a letter from your Doctor saying you have an appointment on so and so. They will let you across. I did this a few months ago with the American border. I Drove across the border because I had a doctors note. Just call ahead of time. Or just fly into Canada and quarantine for 3 days. There are many ways around it.
