    40 DAYS POST OP

The donor area is recovering pretty well except for maybe tiny bit of shockloss on the back part of the head (right side looks perfect)

and the reciepent area has already shed almost of all the tranplanted hair (which is , I assume, overall a good sign)

i'm taking on a daily basis before going to bed:

    Oral Finestride

    Oral minoxidil 5%

    Biotin 1000mg

    MSM

    Mayven Hair pills

i'm also applying coconut oil on my scalp on a daily basis to help with my dry skin.

The only thing that i'm a bit worried about is the fact that areas that weren’t  involved in the procedure (temple area mostly) are not growing hair in the same tempo as other areas. Those areas, as you can see on my orginial photos, were full of hair. is this normal?or am i just anxious for no reason again? and what do you think of the overall progess? would love your feedback.

    Thank you!

    UPDATE AT 6.5 MONTHS!!!

I wanted to thank each of you for your above comments and support and provide an update as I have now surpassed the 6 month post surgery stage.

I have been fortunate enough to have seen further improvement over the last month or so and the quality and feel of my hair continues to improve. My hair feels as though it has real structure and body to it and is in all honesty this is the best my hair has been since my teenage years.

In terms of day to day life, there is no styling to conceal or styling to improve the illusion of density any more. Now it is genuinely styling to preference and the freedom that this allows is a great feeling.

Again, if this was my final result I would be ecstatic, but with several months to go I do look forward to see how things will continue to mature.

Thanks for sharing your amazing progress. Also great to see you at the instalive with Dr. Bisanga 😃🤟

So just a little over 2 months now (or 9 weeks, 3 days).

Quite a bit of shedding since my one month update. Hopefully that's the end of it now? Dunno. Still kinda early days I guess?

But for the more experienced members here, are things looking as expected for this point?

Small update, slightly passed two months post surgery. Can't see any results yet, which is of course normal. Last month I trimmed my hair 10mm, which I regretted immediately haha. It might look that my hair is ok, but my native hair is covering most thinning areas, hopefully this will fill in nicely in a few months from now. Crown is my main concern... I was a bit worried about my donor area, but it seems it's getting better.

Seems I lost most of the transplanted hairs on the left side of my hairline. For some reason the transplanted grafts on the right side haven't shed as much, weird.

I had chest pain (left side), not sure if it was from oral minoxidil, workout at gym, or wild tinder dates. I stopped oral minox to see if the pain went away, and it did. Did and ECG chest, and they didn't see anything abnormal.

    First pictures are before surgery...

Looking great for 2 months. Thanks for sharing your experience in detail.

  5. This is a lovely result and in-line with the educational videos done on donor extractions and really nice clean work. The placing was amazing and truly artistic to see these channels cut and I have not really seen this matched while browsing. Any more photos and how things further go would be great to see but really does look nice already. Very happy for the patient and so natural. 👍

Dr B seems to have very fast growers/relatively low shedding post HT (I'd include myself). I'm guessing this is due to the amount of time the graft spends outside of the body. I was a little zoned out from the valium, but from what I recall, the majority of the grafts were left in the donor post punching, prior to transfer to recipient.

Interesting observation. He's definitely a very professional, skilled surgeon.

P.S. Thanks Hair Restoration team for the recent insta live with Dr. Bisanga. It was very informative.

Below an update just shy of 4 months with a fresh haircut. First two pictures with blow dried hair. Last 3 incl. some styling paste. Very last one is taken from the same spot as the above pictures (in front of a window). The other 4 are in the bathroom - two of which in direct sunlight.

Happy to get your thoughts. I think it is coming in quite nicely already.

To present an update that the patient has kindly provided showing photos at 10 month post surgery. As you can see, the last 2.5 months have shown further improvement as his hair continues to settle, and shows just how natural and undetectable his result is.
The patient has also reiterated his satisfaction with the outcome.

Nice to see the 10-Month update and the transformation through the video posted by the clinic. Thanks for keep posting progress updates and new photos.
