It's impossible to be able to give you objective advice from your photo unfortunately. Can you provide pics from the top, sides and your donor region at the back? Personally I would on go to Dr Bicer. Forget about the price as this is a path to regret that we have seen over and over again. If you cannot afford Dr Bicer (for example) then keep saving up and wait a little longer. Are you on Finasteride? If not then my opinion is that you try it and stay on it for at least 6 months. You may not need surgery and it really is the choice of last resort with hair loss. All the best.

I’m not on finasteride. I used to watch a lot of More Plates More Dates youtube videos (if you’re familiar with the guy, he’s pretty popular for preventing the hair loss) and I got a hormone test before going onto fin which showed some hormonal imbalance and i gave up cause im scared it’s gonna mess me up 🙁

In Turkey I would always consider Dr Bicer as she is both affordable and does some excellent work. Also Dr Pekiner, HLC, Dr Demirsoy and if you was to consider ASMED then I would only chose the top option where Dr Erdogan does the work. Dr Keser doesn’t have many results here, but is well thought of on other forums. Hope this helps 🙏

    Thanks a lot 💪🏼
Asmed offered me 3 packages including one where doctor does all the work and one that is cheaper when he does i guess half of it or incisions only.

I looked up dr Bicer and it seems that she is more expensive when doing it manually but cheaper with a robot (?).

And so we should tell you "Do you go to this one or do you go to the other one?  I do not understand!!

And it's not true that every clinic is a hair mill.

What kind of reply is this?

Maybe you should re-read my post, I never asked of anyone to decide instead of me but for suggestions, nor that every clinic out there is a hair mill, what is unclear?

First of all, you shouldn't base your choice on cost alone, as it is easier said than done, not everyone has the opportunity to afford a world-renowned surgeon, but you must know that transplantation is not a trivial matter.  Quite the contrary, it is a serious surgery, and it is not to be faced lightly, because you may regret it for a lifetime, if something goes wrong.  As for Istanbul, you must know that it is the capital of the black market for hair transplants, there are hundreds of clinics (lots of hair mills) and pseudo-clinics (gangs of improvised who rent operating theaters where they have young trainees perform the procedures.  who the day before were waiters in some restaurant or driving taxis) and are to be avoided.  As for hair mills, there are some good ones and some not, if you want to play Russian Roulette, pick a good one and go, maybe you will be lucky ... or maybe not.

Thanks for the suggestions and the info, but I am quite aware of what happens in Istanbul. And that is why I opened this topic.

The purpose is to get some good info and not the same facts that there are hair mills operating there cause it doesn't help anyone. There are many operating everywhere, in my country for example, every clinic is a hair mill. And dr Koray Erdogan is certainly not the only one with good results in Turkey.

I wouldn't like this to escalate to a point of discussing who makes good decisions based on what.

    I asked for help.

  5. Hello from Serbia!

Been reading this forum for some time and I finally decided to make a topic. For quite long I wanted to ignore the fact that I was losing my hair, but I guess now I've come to terms with it and I am trying to figure out my next step. I guess that my type is norwood 2-3, my crown has some reduction in hair as well as my temples and now the front is starting to recede slowly too.

I've been 'treating' my problem since 2019, I had some bad experiences with doctors whose only goal was to take money from patients, I lost money on useless prp treatments, I even scheduled a hair transplant once in Serbia after an extensive research but cancelled it few days prior when I found out that the doctor's work was a total scam.

Last year I found doctor Sever from Hattingen hair , we even had a skype interview but he rejected me and told me to contact him after a year or more when I lose more hair.

Now the time has come and I think that maybe it is better to battle this head (and hair) on 😁 so even if i need a second transplant in the future I would avoid being bald-ish. But my choice now would be Istanbul due to finances.

I know that there are many experiences already written here, but somehow it makes me confused when I go through them and I am still getting used to what is where 😅

I looked up Asmad clinic cause I've read some good reviews but I think they are too expensive for my budget.

If some experienced users would be kind to help me out with their Istanbul suggestions that aren't pricey I would be so grateful. Doesn't have to be first hand experience, just someone you heard or seen good work from.

    Thanks in advance 😅
