Looks GREAT!! Im so happy to see your success. My surgery is in one week and I’m super nervous with hair being shaved at the back and the fact that I haven’t told anyone I’m doing this. Was hoping to keep it all camouflaged as long as possible with thick bangs and some trendy bob :/

how long until you were able to wash and style your hair properly post-op? I’ve been advised a solid 14 days, maaaaybeee 10 earliest. Not sure how long I can keep doing hats and scarves. Ack.

Thank you!! Good luck with yours, I mostly had my longer hair covering the back of my head for a good few months … I think I was gently shampooing my head massaging the scabs off around 9 days? But no hats or anything on your head for at least two weeks I would say. I think I styled my hair more normal around a week but was super careful of the grafts. I really didn’t tell anybody either, nobody knew 😁

Oh thanks for checking in. Yes as you see i am two weeks in.  The surgery was uneventful, i actually went in every day to be washed, the dr was some days he came to speak to me, but any questions now his staff respond by mail.  I live out of the country so i dont think will follow up personally until maybe the 5 month mark?   Can u send an image of your hair now, it must be almost grown in by now. Did you experience any shock loss?  I am sure he didnt put enough in the front center although he did put in the temple areas.  I am not keen on doing this again!!!

Hi! No i didn't experience any shock loss! I just posted some updated photos, i hope your growth is doing good now to!

This is 2 week and looks a little sparse in center front but I do feel stubs when I touch that area, hopefully grows in full .........I was concerned they told me they only put 256 singles, 1076 doubles and 496 triples, but not only the front but both temple areas, most I think to the temple areas.  The Dr said he put in mostly singles in the front so would look more natural?   I am afraid might not be as dense as I had hoped for, but I can only hold out and wait.........

I think it looks good so far! 😄

If i had known about nadimi i would have gone to her.  I just concentrated on NY drs.which now i regret.   One question:   Did you have any questions days before the surgery that you asked to her or her office?  I am only concerned i wont get post surgical personal care should i have a problem.

    Sorry about the late reply,

Did you have your surgery? I hope it went well! Her office was great, the nurses were amazing and they all answered all my questions I was also able to email Dr nadimi whenever, I saw them almost every day for a few days after surgery.

  7. @Rolo The first surgeon was Dr Bernardino Arocha, in TX would NOT recommend. I'm gonna post some updated pics now!

Here are some pics of my 1st Transplant with Arocha....  I did experience some shock loss and horrible swelling with Dr Arocha, no shock loss that i have noticed with Dr Nadimi, and little swelling!

Hi i am female scheduled for transplant in 10 days and really nervous. They were thinking FUT but now i wonder if should be FUE seeing your results.  Did you notice much diffrence in the back head after yr first fut procedure, does the hair feel much thinner?

    Hi!
The surgeon I had went to left me with a long wide crooked scar doing the FUT, I kinda just wish I had gone to a better surgeon! FUE there was more shots and I had to cut a lot of my a hair, right now it does feel a little thin right now in the back with the FUE added, but I think that’s mostly cause the FUT scar I have.. Just make sure your going to the right Dr

I would do FUT over FUE, I believe the results are better for your hair growth where your transplanting it! My case was just bad for the scarring 😪
