Not guaranteed but it’s certainly going to give you the best chance of retention.

You have diffuse thinning and it looks like you're likely to lose everything on top down the line. Diffuse NW5 or higher for sure.
getting on minoxidil and finasteride should stop that right?

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I have one other doubt - I plan on using the ducray anti-hairfall shampoo before applying the solution. This should help increase the effectiveness right? And would it be just as effective to take a larger dose of it once a day than take 2 daily doses of 1 ml each?

You would definitely benefit greatly from Finasteride looking at your hair both long and short.
I went to a dermatologist today and he's prescribed topical fin and 5% minoxidil (he did mention oral fin would be better). Hopefully this should work.

Looks diffuse when short, but thick grown out. Are you on medication?
No medication so far, just some biotin supplements. I used to think my hair was fine as I'd never shaved/cut it extremely short before.

ypu have diffuse thinning.
hard to know how quick it will progress.
What is your relatives hair like?
On my mothers side no one has had significant hairloss untill they were in their 50s but on my fathers side a few started going bald by their 30s.

You likely need to be on oral finasteride and topical finasteride. The chances of side effects from oral finasteride are a little less than 5%, based on published research. If you're getting side effects from oral finasteride, titrate down and/or consider topical finasteride.
Is it possible to use just minoxidil to stop the hairloss? And based on your opinion how far along the baldness chart do you think I am?

Im 22 years old and Ive been noticing a decrease in hair density over the last 2-3 years. I had recently shaved my head at the suggestion of my barber to assess the situation better, and I found that things were worse than expected. I've been to a dermatologist and they told me to take some blood tests before starting in PRP treatment. Could someone help me understand whether that would actually help? Or is minoxidil the only solution I have (don't want to start finasteride due to the side effects). And could you also give your opinion on how bad the hairloss is at the top/sides? I seem to be having very little frontal recession but just overall loss of hair density. I was also not eating healthy over the last 4 years (only junk food and skipping meals every now and then), but I've started eating better and taking some biotin supplements too.
diffuse thinning and at what stage am I?

Hey dude, I am someone that also had similar issue with diffuse thinning, although I think my hair is a bit worse off that yours. Did you see much change with just the topical solution? Or has your hair remained the same throughout?
