Congrats! The hairline looks super dense. HLC's work is very recognizable.
Which doctors worked on you?
Hey thank you my friend. Dr. Cengiz was my surgeon.

Nice work by HLC. I like the fact that they take their time and spread the surgery over multiple days.
Absolutly professionals at work

Hi guys so i finally did it.
First of all the admin can move this thread to a more appropriate subforum.
I was transplanted 1761 grafts on the first day and 1714 grafts on the second day, making a total of 3475 grafts.I felt in very good hands at all times. The surgery was less painful than I thought it would be. I am currently wearing a bandage which will be removed tomorrow during my follow-up examination. Since I have little time, I will post a few pictures before, during and after the surgery.
I will be happy to answer any questions.First the pictures of the surgery plan.

Keep an eye on your donor it looks a little thin. Don’t get too many grafts taken at once.
It will be around 3500 Grafts in a two days procedure. I must admit that i was worried about my Donor area too, this why i decided to have a personal consultation at Ankara. After the trichoscan and everthing the surgeon told me my donor area is good and i will be fine. I also asked him if i had DUPA and he said no.

Hi thanks for the advice, I am currently in Turkey and have asked HLC to send me a letter authorizing my transit to Ankara and I have already received it. Wish me luck

Have you had an HT before? Looks like you have FUE scarring.
No this will be my first procedure

I decided to have a HT at HLC in Ankara, im a diffuse thinner and my goal is to fill in the front and the top half of my head. For this 3520 grafts will be transplanted, this was planned during a personal consultation at HLC at the end of March.
I would like to have my hairline restored.Finasteride I have already tried and discontinued due to side effects, will eventually try a topical Minox/Fin solution. I have been using Minox and Ket Shampoo for almost 6 years now, neglecting the Ket Shampoo from time to time. For tonsure I would continue to use Toppik and Dermmatch until considering another HT.
Donor area information:
Donor: good density (210 cm2) good condition (7000 grafts), probably curly Trichoscan was performed.
Beard hair: good condition (3000 - 4000 grafts max).
One small question remains, whether the curvy donor hair will lead to whether I will end up with curly hair, my hair curls only after a certain length.
Surgery will be between May 3 and 5. -
Anyone who can help on this topic ?

Keep us up to date mate

I will have my hair transplant procedure at HLC on 3 - 4 May ( 3520 Grafts) . The surgeon recommended that i should not use Minoxidil 1-2 before and also not before 4 weeks after the procedure.
Since im curious about taking oral finasterid (will use a topical solution rather), im afraid that the lack of minoxidil during this time could cause additional hairloss. Could i loose my hair minoxidil is keeping even im not seeing any effects growth with minoxidil since 2 - 3 years ?

I didnt touch the transplanted area at all, i just trimmed the donor area after 3 weeks or something and consulted the clinic beforehand. They said it won't be a problem at all, but you guys are right maybe i should be more patient with the healing.
Any other thoughts on the transplanted area and the shedding?
