Yeah, I have to agree with everyone else... you shouldn't lower your hairline.
That said, you do what you want to do. Be aware that today's decisions may limit decisions when you're in your 40s. Your donor looks amazing, but that stuff changes. My real recommendation would be to lower your hairline only HALF of what you want. Maybe 1cm or so. That leaves your donor with more for the future and will give you a change that you will appreciate.
Be more than just smart... be smart for the future.
Yeah there's been some misunderstanding from some, including the Drs of what i want (i don't want to be a norwood 0), so I've done some drawings...it literally is just the temporal corners. I am aware i have naturally weak temporal points but I don't think I necessarily need to have this addressed and i know this a super hard area to construct naturally. Just have the corners levelled up somewhat would be an absolute game-changer. My hair is very difficult to manage half the hair-style has always been about concealing the recessions (styled last pic)... the freedom this would bring would be amazing. I reached out to dr pekiner as ive seen he's great at hairlines and maybe would be willing to do this...but no reply yet sadly..

You’re still relatively young, you have a lot of hair left to lose. I certainly wouldn’t get a lower hairline unless you’re committed to medication.
Generic Finasteride is super-cheap now and i don't get any sides, i only rub in the minoxidil into those corners in an attempt to get something more to grow which i guess is another good reason for a small procedure into them. The real risk of future loss is also why i would never want to use 3000 of my donor hairs on this though..

How old are you? Are you on medication?
I'm almost 31 and the temporal loss you are seeing occurred around 16/17, although I never had a great juvenile hairline with the left corner temple always having a more receded look. I went on Propecia about 18 as I convinced myself I was going to be bald within a few years if I didn't, although after about a year and a half I stopped completely due the expensive of the med at the time. throughout my twenties I've sporadically used various topicals including high strength minoxidils. I think I've grown the vellus hairs along my hairline as much as they will. I've now been on finnasteride (generic) past 2 years, due to pushing 30 and not wanting to take any chances/avoid more loss. I believe small skillful transplant which I hope would be affordable due to the small areas involved would make a big difference to me, but it doesn't seem easy to find a Dr who gets it..(less profit maybe?)

Have you contacted Dr Arshad who is also uk based? Very much recommended
Have seen the name but didn't look into UK as much as Turkey - seems he can do hairlines without shaving the head, which would be ideal - definitely going to reach out!

I got it done in India. I'm not sure if that's viable for you though. Still, you can check out my thread here:
Ah wow...yeah I couldn't justify going that far from London (especially in a pandemic).
Turkey is where I'm set on but these two opinions on what I need from what I believed to be the more respected docs there have definitely put me off..
In London it doesn't seem like the hair doctors are much respected globally, I was impressed with Dr Rahul Reddy's (London-based) especially the one I linked..however he didnt respond when I wrote him..

I recently underwent an FUE for more or less similar areas, and my job got done with 1400 grafts. Plus I got my temples treated. I'm sure a good surgeon could work wonders on you for around ~1500ish slits.
Cool! Who did you go to? I'd like to find a DR that listens to my request from the outset...

Hi,
My first post to the forum as I try to gather more information and advice facing my future transplant procedure.
I have always been dissatisfied with the shape of my hairline (norwood 2ish) which change late teens, at 30 now with the advances in FUE and affordabilty in Turkey I am ready to embark on minor FUE to sort out my hairline.
I have been on finnasteride for the past 2 years due to the fact I became concerned there may have been some very slow and slight thinning of the vertex, and its definitely stabilised if there was.
I reached out to I believe two of the big names in turkey Dr Bicer and Dr Erdogan but was quite suprised with the number of grafts they want to do.
My objectives from a transplant would be to fill my temporal corners and align my hairline, not lowering of the central point, to creative a easier aesthetic for styling, and therefore not to transplant into the vertex which i believe is fine.
https://forum.hairsite.com/t/rahal-fue-norwood-2/28647
The above is a result by Dr Reddy, which is similar to me I feel and what I want to achieve, dense packing of the small temporal areas to align the natural hairline. However I am surprised that both Drs instead want to do a low and juvenile hairline on me with a high number of grafts. I even wrote in my original emails to them what I exactly hoped for conservatively.
The photo with the green line is Dr Erdogans response "your surgery should consist of 2500 grafts - from the image I can see that this would go into both the vertex and extend well beyond the original hairline!!!
Dr Bicers outline is more akin to what I want, maybe a little overkill but but surprisingly gave me
"FUE with approx. 3200-3400
grafts for front area. (red line) And one session satisfies you. But for higher
density, you have a chance to have another session since your donor area is very
effective. (green line)
-You have risk to lose your current hair as I draw (yellow line). Because you are
30 and generally hair loss continues until 45’s. This hair loss is not related with
the operation."This seems like an awful lot of FUE for this small area!?
Since I was surprised by the more intensive fue than I was expecting for my hairline goal, I thought I would post here to see if anyone could advise me what my next move would be. I wanted to adopt a conservative approach and fill in my temple areas, not give myself a juvenile hairline that I never even had and may not even suit me and be obvious to what i had had done. Budget is also an option and I was hoping I could get an expert surgeon for a small area resulting in a large impact, not to have as many grafts done as a full top head restoration job
Any feedback would be appreciated I've attached pictures of my hairline wet and dry and also the drs evaluation images
