No one can say if it’s successful at 6.5 weeks. It takes a full year. My thoughts off the bat is the density is low. I don’t know what your goals are, and who the surgeon was.
The most recent pics are 11 weeks post op. Up top are the immediate post op pics. I got 1850 grafts on a pretty conservative hairline as you can see. I am aware I’ll likely need ops in the future. Doctor is Ken Anderson in Atlanta. Goal was to get me back to a mature, conservative hairline.

Was there a reason you chose ARTAS and not a skilled surgeon?
The surgeon is reputable. It’s Dr. Ken Anderson in Atlanta. I chose him bc he was close and had good reviews. I understand the issues that ARTAS has but at the end of the day it’s the surgeon making the call of the donor area extraction and making the recipient area sites. I don’t know if the focus on ARTAS has too much to do with the # of grafts or the actual outcome. Besides the transaction rate and punch size argument.

Does this look like it’s on par with a successful result tho? Given it’s only 6.5 weeks in?

Hi everyone. Two weeks later, the grafts seem to have shed and are continuing to shed. I was wondering if the below pics look normal:
The area is not red at all which is a good thing?
Also there are spots in between grafts where no follicle is visible. Is this because is has fallen out and is now in the sleeping stage? Meaning I won’t see a black speck under the skin indicating the follicle is present?
thank you all for your patience and feedback.

Thanks for the feedback.
when do you recommend I am safe to dermapen the recipient area? If at all?
-
How much time is ideal in between procedures? I imagine it’s condition-based?
-
Yeah I can concede to that. The upside is that my hairs in general are pretty thick when grown in. I’m definitely excited to see how it turns out. But I appreciate all the feedback.

Thank you!

That’s what I was thinking as well. Since I am young I will likely have other areas to cover in the future.
Dr. Ken Anderson in Atlanta. -
That is correct. I have pretty good density from the very top of my head backwards so no work there was needed.

Hi everyone, just made this account. I had an 1800 graft robotic FUE completed 9 days ago. I am concerned with the density (lack of) and miniaturized hair, especially around the temples. The clinic is reputable and the Doctor wanted a natural result but I am anxious about the final outcome. I know it’s too early to tell, which is why I wanted to get another set of eyes on it.
I’ve followed all care instructions to the T. Does this look normal or am I overreacting? Below are pics of day 9 and one from before the op. I was a Norwood 3/4a at 27 YO.

Well he didn’t cover my entire frontal third. He drew a pretty conservative line so I’m hoping the mature look makes up w the relatively low graft count
