It looks like a good improvement from 6.5 months, I take it you're very happy. The result looks excellent.
Slight improvement. You can see through it quite a bit under certain overhead lights.

I have an appointment with him on Wednesday for a check up. Do you think I need to ask him anything? I’m seeing him in person. Hope it looks natural enough.

That’s a phenomenal looking hairline. This is a “single” surgery correct? You must be so stoked!!
Yeah it was single.

Did you get a graft breakdown? How many went into the temples?
Sorry I didn’t. 3500 total. Luckily I have thick hair so that helped a lot.

Stunning result. How long did you try to contact Ferreira?
Before the surgery? I think it was a 4/5 month wait at the time.

Hmm it’s hard to tell but maybe I’m getting used to it although definitely looks less than other side. Have consultation with the surgeon next week in Porto. See what he says.

The infection only covered the donor area and the boils covered the whole of that area.

It’s the infection I think. Just a bit of a worry if I’ll likely want more density to the front. Might lack enough donor for it.

I would take a breather. The result at the hairline itself looks pretty damn good. I know the density looks off but you did take it in harsh lighting. Are you happy with it? As far as the infection goes I really wonder if that had anything to do with the poor regrowth back there. At the end of the day it healed up. Could just be a case of slight overharvesting instead, no? This is why I'd like to see a photo of the donor post op.
Yes it’s harsh lighting but it seems that all the mirrors I look into have that lighting. So I guess in my head lots of folk are seeing it that way. I have to brush it down so no one would see. Not really ideal. Isn’t there supposed to be 50 hairs per cm2. Definitely not that.

Well I used all the saline.

And I felt like I was pestering him each time as the replies were 2 sentence emails.

Around 2 weeks. What annoyed me at the time was the blazeyness of it all. Not getting in contact with me for days after when a few times I raised serious concerns. The way it looked and felt I had a feeling this was going to happen. It was for a good 2 months too. There was actually no advice. He just asked what my gp said. My gp was asking me what the surgeon would advise. Was a nightmare tbh. I showed him photos of the hair loss after and he said it should grow back. Is this really worth the near 8k. Hmm I don’t think so. I know a few folk that have paid a 1/4 of what I paid for and it looks good.

I had the infection for about 2 months. Big angry boils.

I think it was the infection. I knew it was going to do this. It felt so painful and angry and my fear of hair loss there came true. I’ll upload it soon.

What an awesome result!!! I’m booked in with Dr Ferreira next week (Tuesday and Wednesday). If he produces a result like that for me I will be very very happy! And you are only 6.5 months in!!!
That’s you dr Bruno? 😂

Hi. Ok this is over 6.5 months. My hair grows quick so I’ve had the front cut a couple of times. In overhead indoor lighting you can tell it’s definitely not as dense as it would be naturally. The left hand side is definitely not as dense as the right. This has been the case for months. In daylight with no overhead lighting it looks great and you can’t see the scalp. I messaged the Dr about my concerns and he advised to wait for full maturity. Pretty sure this is going to be it as it came through so quickly. It’s not changed since 4 months in terms of the density. Last few photos out of overhead light. Can’t delete some of them for some reason so you can judge which ones were in overhead light at the end. It’ll be pretty difficult trying to avoid over head light in Scotland. Indoor lighting is mostly on as we are so far up north and not much sunshine even in summer. I’ve been applying minoxidil each day for about 5 months and I’m still taking 1ml fin

I’m not sure if it looks natural enough. What you think?
