Hi,
It’s been 4 months since I had the ht. My hair started regrowing, finally, keep waiting…
As I work in the intensive care department at hospital, I was tested positive for Covid in the last months. I was worried about medicine, their effect on the recovering. I consulted with the clinic, they informed me that there are no restrictions. I was in quarantine for 10 days and got medical treatment. I am back at work. No problems for the moment. I will keep you posted.
Stay safe!

Thanks for encouraging! I almost got used to 'ugly duckling'. Good thing is that from now on it will get better every day!

My scalp is ok. I did go to the vacation, do not regret. However, I was not taking off the hat even in the sea, so no diving ((. All in all, I guess healing progresses nice. Loosing hair.... I heard that shock loss is the most frustrating... I feel it.
Thanks for your advices.

Very clean work and your donor looks great. The ugly duckling phase will come and go , after 3 or 4 months you will be over the hump.
All the best for great growth

3-4 months? I was prepared for 8 😁
At least can continue routine life. Sea, sports, etc.

This is my first post so please excuse any errors.
I am a 40 year old male in the UK with Norwood 5 hair loss. I have been weighing up options for a HT and want to ensure I am making the right choice and within my budget. I have been doing some research on surgeons in Turkey and I have narrowed it down to two- Dr Koray Erdogan and Dr Doganay. Dr Erdogan has advised between 5000-5000 grafts at a cost of around 12500 euros and Dr Doganay has advised 4000 grafts with a costing of 7000 euros. However with every positive review I read, I then read two negative reviews and I am totally confused. After visiting some of the top clinics in the UK, it is just out of my budget, however I did receive a quote from the Westminster medical which seems reasonable. They advise 3150 grafts for £7000 and having the surgery in the UK gives me a bit of peace of mind, however I cant find much on this clinic or their surgeons online. Does anyone have experience with the Westminster Medical Group? Based on the two surgeons in Turkey, what are your thoughts? Any help at this stage will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Alex
Hello Alex,
Uhh, understand your excitement and feeling of a fish in troubled waters.
Due to Corona hair transplant clinics are not crowded in Turkey. So, the doctors focus more on patients. I would advise you to ask the clinics more questions about doctor's exact actions during surgery, his expected outcomes, before and after photos.
All docs have good and bad feedbacks (as I studyied this questions for more than 2 months).
Just make a step forward to the one who gained your trust more.
Let us know your desicion )

Hi, I went through a hair transplant on June 09. I thought my experience would be useful here.
I had 3.500 grafts transplanted by AHD team, the surgery lasted 2 days. I was very nervous and expected swelling, bleeding, and all these scary things discussed on forums. I was pleasantly surprised the first night after surgery. No pain, no blood, only some scabs that were cleaned in 10 days. Then, I just started enjoying my hair look and they begin falling out :( The clinic informed about it at the beginning, but it is still kind of sad. I was also told to take Proscar to get better results. I bought few packs the other day, will see, hope there will be no side effects.
Now I am in 5th week. Still facing shock loss, suppose it will continue for a few more weeks.
This is how my hair looked before the surgery
