  1. Dont worry about anything Rocketman,

the photos youve showed im sure many coalition surgeons would give you great advice on.

i too was very worried about my scar as it was approx same size as yours.

    MAIN THING IS ,

1,make yourself feel happier with more hair upfront

done by a quality named surgeon of your choice.

2,after that you can explore your options of trying a scar revision

    or

    fue/fut into scar etc.

    its all good.

p.s. i too still have nightmares over the clinic and sitting in that little hot room downstairs.

  2. Dear Rocketman,

im feeling for you as it happened to me also.

I cringe everytime i hear/see someone going to the hospital, aahhhh

its a shame,we both got conned by their salesman talk etc etc.

    ANYWAY,

its time to move forward and keep positive and chin up,i was so down too but

it will be ok if youve a decent amount of donor remaining.

    for now,

FORGET about your wide/large scar that they left you,

its probably too low anyways as mine was.

I HOPE YOU CAN TAKE MY ADVICE,AS I WANT TO SEE YOU HAPPY AGAIN,

as theres great surgeons out there who will help you achieve what you want.

1, send your pics to a quality coalition surgeon of your choice

and trust what they tell you, make sure your pics are clear.

2,whatever surgeon you choose, theyll most probably leave your wide scar

and take a higher strip from your donor,

because they wont get many grafts from your old scar plus theyll want to charge you to repair it.

You can repair it later my friend once youve got nice hair on top youll smile.

3,DONT WORRY about having 2 scars as i have,so long as you harvest max grafts then later if you feel youve enough hair,

a god surgeon can cut your 2 scars into one scar

    or

put some fue into your bad scar.

    i wont reccomend surgeons names

just choose a well known coalition that you can get to easily and afford etc

    all the best my friend

sorry you got duped like me

  3. So sorry to hear that they managed to talk you into returning for a second procedure there and you didnt get to take advice from other sufferers who had bad results at that clinic.

Tarquin is only there to sell sell sell

and will say/do anything to make the sale, even though he pretends he cares,he doesnt.

i had one terrible result at same clinic as you and thankfully i went overseas to visit a coalition surgeon to get precise and acurrate advice on what the future holds rather than talking to many many people.

A top coalition surgeon will inform you exactly where you stand and what can and cant be done.

theres always hope out there somewhere, just make sure you travel my friend to get the real advice you seek.

  4. Hi wrapper,

i had 3 sessions with dr path.

because i had a botch surgery in uk which left me a very low scar i got dr path to leave it and he took a higher strip to achieve 3000 grafts

then i returned 1 year later and i wanted maximum amount grafts so dr path cut a 3rd strip scar higher area where it was denser to achieve 2700 grafts.

    so i had 3 scars,

i then returned for dr path to joing the first and second scar together revision into 1 neat scar, its still healing now but looks great so far so good.

my higher scar didnt heal as well as i wanted but it is well hidden

dr path will tell you straight,no bullshit.

so far now i dont see any problem having 2 scars on my donor as its well hidden.

as long as your getting the grafts you want and your donor hides it nicely then 2 scars is no problem in my own view

  5. You could do a strip surgery to cover all your frontal regions so that you will look good and start on meds to see if it helps the crown area

if not then be prepared to go in for a second.

im pretty sure any of the top docs will inform you of your options.

Dont worry it will all work out well.

some people respond well to meds and their existing hair thickens up and loss stops

    and some it does nothing.

least you have decent donor hair if you go for surgery.

    all the best

  6. Dear friend.

ive had 3 surgeries with Dr.PATH in Bangkok.

Each time i wore a bandana as it was easiest and also covers more of your head.

Thai people wont even look twice at your head so youll have no problems

and also Bangkok is a great place to recover 1 week post op if you have time.

    all the best

  7. As Dr Dorin said to you he could shave small strips but youd probably only get 1400 fue

which is a long 1 day procedure.

for me id say now that u have a scar just reuse it open it up and get another good 3000 fut and have great coverage and no need to haave time off work.

in the time they do 300 fut it will be same to get 1400 fue

  8. Hey wb

im sure most of doctors have informed you that by doing fue and trying to shave just strips to hide the evidnce wont give you as many grafts as you desire.

Youve got a scar for life now

and if you desire say another 3000 grafts then by doing another strip with same scar you will immediately be able to hide the scar at donor with longer hair and youll have 300 new fresh fut grafts with your existing hair covering it nicely for no evidence.

if you decide on fue then yes less pain less fuss but not enough grafts and you will not be able to hide the donor shaven with such a large area.

    most docs will say,

strip yourself all out first then do fue for touch ups.

my 2nd strip really helped and was not noticable at recipent just some donor shockloss.

i recently had my 4th strip to repair old scar from a botch strip

and also combined it with some fue just above it.

even for say 100 fue you have to shave a fair bit.

    bst of luck

  9. Dear all,i have just had another procedure at DHT CLINIC BANGKOK

    with Dr.Path.

Again his team performed a great service and i cant praise him enough for his professionalism and honesty etc etc.

The clinic is spotless as usual and the staff very attentive and i want to confirm to anyone booked for surgery that

    THERE IS ABSOLUTELY

NO FLOODING AT THE CLINIC OR NEAR THE CLINIC

from the airport to the clinic theres absolutely no flood waters.

    if anyone has any doubts

they can ask me or simply contact Dr.Path directly.

    happy growing to all.
