Best of luck in your journey. It all looks great so far. I did get some redness during the first month too and some itching. Were you advised to use anything for that? I did find almond oil to be useful.

Very nice work and well written advice doc.

Best of luck in your research. I had some similar pattern to you and was advised to not come near the crown. Nonetheless, I am5 years older and my donor is slightly better. I agree you should consult few doctors and probably be more conservative in your approach and consider adding meds to your plan.

Ofcourse I do agree with the posts here that shaving down is definitely the better option imo!

A rough guide would be (as I have learned after several consultations):
3-4 months: 10-15% of the result
6 months: 50% of the result
8 months: 80%
12-18 months :final result
Again these are rough guides only. It is a similar situation to when you compare kids milestones (when do they talk, walk, teeth, etc)

I have followed your post and hope things will work out for you. I personally started noting growth at 4 months but it took 9 months to see the mature look. Still I did notice ongoing growth after ofcourse and certainly people who dont see me frequently would keep commenting on my hair getting denser. I’m just wondering why minox is not recommended for 6 months at ASMED. I was told where I had it done to stop it 2 weeks before surgery and to restart it exactly a month after.
All the best.

I would suggest looking for Dr. Otavio Boaventura who does a lot of long hair unshaven FUE or what they call Preview long hair. My guess is that the numbers ler session are lower so might need to do a more gradual approach. I think Dr. Parsa Mohebi in LA also does them. Best of luck!

I did ask this question during my consultation. The answer i was given is that even what looks likea single hair graft above the skin may end up having more than one hair when extracted. So cant be a real judgment. The grafts should be looked at with magnification and the true single ones isolated, and if numbers are short, some more singles created from bigger grafts.

You may try some oils such as Olive oil , almond oil or aloe vera on the area. It worked for me when I got itchy and a bit pink in the donor or near the forehead. It is not worrying though. Better to run it by his doc too.
3000 graft FUE with Dr. Hasson. Finally did it.
