  1. hello guys I recently made a touch up. The first surgery went well but I wanted more density. The donor after the first transplant was perfect now instead after two weeks from the first surgery I see it a little sparse. I would like to ask those who had shock loss in donor, if they recovered their hair and after how long. My great fear is that the shock loss of the donor area is irreversible when it occurs. The clinic is excellent so this should reassure me, however as I said I'm afraid that the shock loss in donor will not recover. So i'm interested to know the experiences of people operated by important and good clinics. Thank you very much

I know what you mean in terms of a slight lack of density in the frontline, but you're 8 months in so likely to get some further improvement. Overall its a very good result, no one gets absolute perfection in a single procedure but you're not far off. By 12 months wouldn't be surprised if its at that point to your liking,  not it would be an extremely small touchup to get there.

i saw your ht, so beautiful!

I have 2 questions for you : 1) after 8 month, have you seen  real improvements or very little?

    2) having a second procedure, have you had shock loss in donor or recipient? My worry is this...

    Hi Italianhairr,

I think there has been a misunderstanding on both sides, in your first post you said 60 uf density and 50 uf further back. What I understood from that post, is that the density was slowly decreased the further back in to the hairline, with maximal density being placed in the very front correct? For some reason, jj thought you meant there was a second "line" drawn on your scalp

I meant what you said. 60 grafts in the firts line, 50 grafts back where multiples grafts are placed.

No problem, you stated “60 u.f/ cm 2 in the first line, 50 uf back“ however I do not see the second line?

excused me but maybe i haven't understood yet XD do you mean that in the second line there are few grafts regrowth, or do you mean other?

In the first part of your message you told wow 10/10 , so i didn't understood if you like or not

  5. That's true, there is a resting phase and why roughly only half of the grafts are sprouting at 5 months. I have never observed anyone experience 100% of their grafts growing at 5 months or even 6 months post-op.

but now i also ask myself : if the telogen phase lasts, maximum , until 5th month, why should hair regrowth also after the 5th month ?For example the 7th and 8th month ?

  6. What does this mean exactly? 50% of the grafts have started growing? If so, how is this accurate as the telogen phase lasts 3 months, should we see 100% of the growth happening at 3-5 months? Or does this percentage mean 50% of how the end result density will "look"?

    i didn't understand.

Are you saying that the hairtransplanted hair regrowth all only until 5th month?

  7. spex thank you very much, i read everyhing you have written since 2006 till now, however i hoped to read also the experiences of people with a concluded hairtransplant, instead i read only experience at 4th 5th month (like me).

I saw also the pics but at 12 month , those people had hair longer than 6 month , so i didn't undertand so good if they were better only for more lenght or also for more density ( the ideal thing it would be see not only the same people but also with the same lenght at 6th , like at 12 month).

I d like to write a private message

  8. Disagree you should expect a full 18 month wait, the reality is that 95% of patients hit their peak around 10-12. In the current moment for 5 months it looks solid. Mine looked worse than yours at 5 months, still huge movement likely to come up to 7 months.

With fairly uniform growth that looks good in dull lighting at 5 months as in your case chances are it will turn out well.

hello. I didn't see your answer, this is very reassuring.

I remember your ht, is very good. In your opinion from 5th month, hiw much have you improved until 12 month expressed in percentage % ?
