    4. Means that feriduni has an internal score to evaluate the surgery. Graft quality, extraction, implantation. They score from 1 to 10 with 10 being the best. Typically they tell you this score.

Dr Feriduni did not mention such a score. He just mentioned that the surgeries were successful.

Wow, another 3100 grafts. I wish you all the best. You are on a long and bumpy road and most of us can feel with you. Please apologise for my following questions:

Did you insist of unshaven recipient in the first surgery? What about this time?

Why did you go all-in this time (instead of having subsequent small surgeries)? Was this your wish or the clinics recommendation?

Is the any explanation of the clinic why they believe the yield of FUE is better than FUT (which typically puts less stress to the grafts)?

What was your internal score for graft quality etc.?

    1. No I do not insist in my first surgery. i just said that I it would be more convenient to me. I was more than 5 hours in the surgery room but I do not remember exactly.

    2. Clinics recommendation

    3. There is such an opinion. We did not have a debate about the effectiveness of FUE or FUT

    4. Sorry but I cannot understand your last question

  3. I had my second surgery two years after the first. After my first surgery, new hair began growing around the three month mark. After my second surgery, the new hair was much slower to surface. Most of that growth occurred around the 5th month and beyond. Let’s hope you have a more delayed response on your second surgery like I did. Hang in there and best of luck to you.

Thank you very much for your response!

  4. I am asking because I have not noticed any growth yet (except my hairline). Is there is a chance to see significant growth in the following months? I have searched this forum but I have not found people who have presented major improvement after 7-8 months of the operation.

  5. We are in the same boat. Unfortunately, I think that there are no “slow growers” or “late bloomers”. This is, more or less, a myth. I have searched a lot on the web for this issue and I haven’t found really cases of slow growers. It is worth noting that when I say a slow grower, I mean people who have zero growth at 6 months (or below 10-15%) and decent growth at 12-18 months (i.e. above 70%).

  6. Hi,

I would like to share with you my hair transplant experience with Dr. Feriduni in Hasselt (Belgium). I am 41 years old and I started losing my hair at the age of 20. 15 years ago, I had my first hair transplant in Greece with not great results (1800 grafts). So about one year ago I decided to have my second hair transplant with Dr. Feriduni because of his great reputation (searching and viewing different forums and especially this forum). The large number of great results convinced me that this was the right Doctor.

I had a FUT strip surgery with him 4 months ago with about 2800 grafts. Unfortunately, the Dr. could not take more grafts because of my bad elasticity so we’re limited on the frontal area. Dr. Feriduni is an excellent guy and I found the clinic to be very professional.

Attached you may find some pre op and post op photos taken by Dr. Feriduni. I’ll update this thread in about one month (5 month) because unfortunately until now there has been not hair growth.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
