  1. Hawk,

    You should check out Dr.AP.

He has even taught a doctor from States how to do fue (he calls it FUSE).

Dr. Martinick may be great. But why would anyone come from Australia to India to perform FUT at lower costs with the added disadvantage of not having the full complement of trained techs.

I do not think any good ht doctor worth his/her name would do that.

  2. Action radar,

One needs a lot more grafts than what one plans initially.

Do you really want to go ahead.

    You are way too young.

But if your mind is set, do research about the use of fue and body hair transplants.

BTW, I have done my bit of research and I recommend Dr.AP, New Delhi.

He is way easier on the pocket and I have seen some real good results.

  3. FUE is good if you have limited donor are sparce thinning/or scarring effects.

500 grafts would not make much of a difference unless all 500 were 3-4 hair grafts.

It is also 2-3x expensive as strip.

FUE is good if you do not like a scar at the back of your head.

Laproscopic surgery (for liver stones) is preffered over the conventional surgery. The difference is only in the level of invasiveness.

My sister in law got laproscopic removal of gall stones. She was back home in 2 days and said she didnt feel any surgery was done.

If I could turn back the clock, I would choose FUE over strip irrespective of the cost.

For that matter even the cost is not really a factor if you are net savvy.

Dr.Arvind, Delhi does FUE cheaper than strip in the states. I think FUE is worth a trip.
