Hi mate. I have a similar density to you from Yaman and am around the same month mark. I think where he is going wrong is using that technician to extract the grafts all by himself. It also felt a little rushed while he was doing it. I was under the impression Yaman would do the extractions himself.

Furthering my scepticism, the tech that was doing my extractions went to stick a needle in my later for the IV and he even stuffed that up. He stabbed me about 3 times then apologised and quickly left the room. Later someone else came in a stuck it in my arm. Leaving me sitting there being like holy ****, this dude just extracted my grafts...

Same thing happened with me .. I had a surgery in sept 2017 .. at the end of my surgery one guy with beard not sure what’s his name .. he told me injcetimg IV ( antibiotics and painkiller solution ) but I don’t know where he poke me and after few minuets it’s swallon with black spot , he told me sorry and got out from room .. I was scared after few minutes Yaman came and try to pushed that swallowed black spot and told me that’s fine ..

I am not criticizing there procedure may be that’s a way they r doing procedures.. I am suggesting other people who looking for surgery please do more search before u rush for surgery .. I did 6-8 months search even though it wasn’t enough .. try to message people who had a surgery in past .. at the end heath is more important than hair ..

Been 7 months now and still going strong.

 

Cannot fault the results so far, just been on holiday for a week and used a minimal amount of Toppik on a few occasions but generally I felt totally confident going out without anything. Went to a water park and in the pool / sea and even when wet it wasn't that bad, although still a bit thin.

 

It's changed my life for the better and made me so much more confident. Just hope it keeps growing - and stays!!

I've noticed hairs like those attached falling from my donor area and my donor area at month 3 looks thinner than at month 1 and 2 Post-op.

 

I'd really appreciate if someone on this forum can help / direct me to a link or a post where such thing was shared/discussed.

I think what u mean with hair falling off is the natural process of balding if your not on meds ur natural hair not transplanted will continue to fall out due to mpb

What is a meaning of mpb ? I know existing hair may fall because if we don't take meds.. my question was what about transplanted hair like some patient had falling off transpnated hair . what about in your case ? And ya could u show us pic of hair line ?

Hi Mick, so far so good but I guess the proof will be in the pudding about 6 months from now.

I had my procedure done over 2 days finishing yesterday for approximately 5000 grafts.

Dr and staff were very friendly and Dr did all incisions and extractions as promised.

They did seem very busy looks like doing 3-4 procedures per day. So far the results look good with good natural looking planting with good density. I guess doner capacity and required grafts for good coverage will dictate here. My front and middle look extremely good but crown is light on. Am weary of over harvesting so i think we achieved the maximum from what was available. Dr's assistant Fikret is extremely good to deal with if you have any questions best way to contact is using the app called whatsapp.

i will try to post some photos for 1st day post op.

Yes that is exactly what i would say to someone else in my position but its not so easy at least for me to be that clear thinking when it comes to my own situation its easy to be your own worst enemy.

Are you totally sold on the idea of going to turkey ?? I personally think you are rushing and if you can find an appointment at a months notice it's probably because the surgeon/clinic is not very popular . I would avoid Resul Yaman completely even though he is recommended on here . If price is really not an issue check out dr Lorenzo Madrid , or of your wanting a totally doctor lead surgery have a look at dr lupanzula (medikemos) he performs all the extractions and incisions and only works on 1/2 patients per day ... he has loads of results on YouTube and has recently started posting on here. His hairline work is up there with the very best around ! Please please do not rush into surgery just because you have a window , will you not have this same window next year ? The only way you would get an appointment at any reputable clinic at such short notice is through a cancellation etc ...

I don't really notice any difference after 12th month. The thing which is bothering me a lot is that the structure of my donor hair is thick and curly. I have so much trouble of styling my hair every morning. It's like antenna everywhere.. Still thin in left side.

1 month update (actually still two days to reach that mark)

Right now I still keep most of the implanted hair (don't know if that's good or bad sign). The donor area is slowly recovering, but still quite noticeable.

Hope everything goes well, specially worried about the look of those <<cornrows>> in the future.

I am now 17 days post op. I have some questions that I would really appreciate if anyone can help and reply.

 

Even before my HT, I had an oily scalp. I think due to my shaved head, it is now more evident than ever and it's really bothering me and leading to dandruff. By oily, I mean extremely oily. I think the oil has increased after I stopped using Minoxidil around 15-18 days before my hair transplant.

 

I've been using the shampoo recommended by the clinic. As soon as it is done, I will have to go back to using a shampoo of my choice.

 

Is there any shampoo that is able to combat this oily scalp while also having some benefits for my hair (lipogaine, nizoral ...?) Any suggestions? I'm also open to any other metho

 

 

 

 

ds. I have also spoken to the clinic and I'll wait for their suggestions, but I'd like to hear your advice.

Thank you chevenowner! I made him keep the hairline quite high and inline with my existing hair (he did try and lower it) as I'm not too far off 36 now! I'm just taking biotin and MSM, not really sure if they have helped or not! It does need more density but it's still early days so fingers crossed it will get thicker! Surgery in April is still very early, plenty more time for it to kick in!

I don't get replay back from them .. they knew that my appointment in this end of month .. they should answer me but they didn't give answer yet so I have to asked u about it .. After 4.5 months .. it's look good result .. I can see result from dr resul Yaman is good except unicio and indexo..

My other question is ... what about cleanliness in room ? Because basically is surgery so around area should be clean and no germs like to prevent infection ..

I heard dr used motorized machine to remove hair from donor area so my question is dr use same machine for all patients ? If not than they sanitized or how they clean ? I am asking this question because there is a so many disease is transfer by blood to blood contact .. ( basically I am from health field that's why arise all those question .. I am not too much worried about my result but more worried about this disease issues )

One more question ..they do blood report of patient before starting surgery ? ( to check any blood disease ? )
