Really fantastic, what’s so great is that you continuously kept us updated, so we could see how it looked before you got a growth spurt.
Many thanks Melvin ! It was my pleasure

Hi. Hair looks great. I am at HDC next month for the same number of grafts. I am also staying there for a week. What was it like staying for a week, were you able to walk around or did you just want to stay in the apartment and recover.
Hi,
Most of the time I have needed a proper rest and stayed in the apartment especially in the first couple of days.
Follow the HDC team instructions, it is crucial. Wishing you lots of luck! You will be in the best of hands!

Hi everyone,
Here is my 14 months update:
I'm very pleased with my results and very grateful to the HDC team.
I must stress out that at 1 year post op you just start to see the final outcome. I have noticed that not only the growth has improved but also the maturity of the hair has made the difference. One should'nt expect to reach the final look at 1 year time.
Many thanks for all the support and feedback I've got through this forum
All the best

Great to see another happy ending result! which month(s) did you notice the most significant new growth? Iam approaching the 3 months mark myself but haven't seen much of anything quite yet...
Hi
Many thanks for your positive feedback! I'd say I have noticed a significant improvement between month 4 and month 7 but since the progress is so slow it was hard to notice the improvement at the time. After month 6 I began to notice the hair thickness changes.
Wishing you lots of luck in your journey.
In the end of the road the long wait pays !!!

Just a beautiful and age appropriate hairline design..
Thanks for your kind words !

Also as I've had similar final work done that was icing on the cake, I just will mention that adding temple points even subtle ones will be the perfect final touch to your current results.
Any plans for temple points? (if your donor supply allows it)
Thanks for your positive feedback !
I totally agree with you that adding temple points makes a great effect to the total look . In my case it was preserved , unfortunately I have quite alot of silver hair in that area which makes it almost invisible in the pictures . As for my donor area supply I belive I have enough for that if I will need to restore it .
Happy new year

Hi
I have also had my HT by HDC and up until now I have been very pleased with my progress. The HDC team were great so I’m not surprised to see such a good result like this one, and the previous one.
I am now at the 5 and half months post-op period, and I have posted my experience in this forum at this link
http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/187245-great-experience-hdc-clinic-fue-2470-grafts.html
I am waiting for my final result and I will post it as I get to that stage. So far it has been quite promising.
Keep up the good work

@barak did your hair loss doctor recommend that dosage after your surgery?
Hi
My Doctor/ HDC Clinic did not mention the medication at all. It was my own decision to use it. I have also forgotten to mention that I have been using "Rogain" (Minoxidil 5%) foam in the last 3 months. So far I have been very pleased with my progress.

I have been using 0.5 mg twice a week since 5 month post my surgery and so far I am under the impression that it does work well .
I had been using Propecia for many years in the past then I had to stop due to serious side effect that I developed unfortunately. I had atrial fibrillation ( that is one of the less frequent but known adverse effects). After a long period I have avoided taking it I have decided to take it again but in much lower doses than the recommended by the manufacturer.
I have read a research that showed that even a small dose of 0.2 mg once daily gives a similar effect of DHT level reduction measured in the blood as 1 mg once daily. To be honest I am not sure about the research methodology quality level but since I had that adverse reaction I decided to further lower the weekly dosage and reduced it to 0.5 twice weekly as I mentioned. It seems to be effective for me.
On top of that I consume MSM twice a day and Biotin once daily .
Good luck

Looks like I'm getting better in recent weeks . I definitely see a growth of new hair
Attached some pictures in different lighting .
Hello everyone,
I finally hit my 5 months and so far I'm very pleased with my progress. I look at the mirror and can't believe how this hair transplant has framed and changed my face!
I still got almost 7 month to go untill I reach my final outcome... Can't wait to get there!
I must say I have had a real positive experience with the HDC clinic, they were great!
Attached one pre-op picture and a few pictures from the recent days for comparison.
Good luck and happy growing to everyone .

I think the jagged section has merged in very nicely. You see some hairlines that are just way too perfect that it draws the eyes to the hairline. For me a natural look is more important than anything else and it looks like you're on a very good path.
I have to agree with you . Also I have mentioned it to Dr Maras before the surgery that the natural looking result is extremely important for me and that's whay I chose HDC after I have noticed many cases of patients .

This will be a great result. Always impressed with HDC work.
You're at the worst stage at the moment. Time just drags... hang in there and it will all be growing soon!
Thank's Dolph 1969 ! Certainly not an easy stage . hope it will pass quickly

Looks fantastic. That slightly jagged section at the front is something I've noticed from Dr Maras on a lot of his cases. Was this discussed with you? I know a lot of surgeons do it very neat at the front however Dr Maras does seem to favour this technique. Can you shed any light on this? Looks to me like he's done a fantastic job.
Hi Frank27
The slightly jagged section at the front was visible only at the first week post op . after that it's seems that it merged with my existing hairs giving a nore natural looking .
Looking forward to see my further result .

Hello Barak,
Nice to share your story with us. I wish you all the best with your result from HDC Hair Clinic.
I also had a great experience with this Clinic. I had 2 hair transplants. One for the crown and then one for the front. I am very satisfied with the results.
I am waiting to see your progress.
Hi hercules Tang
I'm glad to hear you've been through a positive experience with HDC and you are happy with your result . I'm also planning to do another HT in my crown in the future .
